    Just OK. Samsung Terrace materially better. Sound is atrocious and not smart tv.

    Outdoor TVs are expensive, but this probably isn't worth it. It's good and all, but probably better off buying a cheap TV and hoping for the best!

    I bought this TV in Jun 2019 and on Sept 22, 2019 it stopped working. I first called Geek Squad because since I paid extra for it at time of sale. When I spoke to them they said they don"t service Sunbrite TV's so I had to contact Sunbrite.(why did they offer Geek squad if they don't service them?????). I went ahead and contacted Sunbrite and after an hour they finally agreed to send the part and a professional to install the part. When I received the part on Oct 2, 2019 I contacted them and they told me the repair man will contact me in 7-10 days. Stay away from these people

      SunBriteTV offers one of the best warranties in the industry, which includes on-site service. We’re working with our on-site service provider to resolve this customer's issue and apologize that the repair has not been able to be scheduled within expected timeframe.     Born: October, 2020 Died: May, 2022. Out of warranty but not out of our hearts. Cost to repair will be approx $675. I'm just going to buy a regular tv for my fully covered patio and take my chances. Everything is on a surge suppressor/gfci. Seriously, though, the picture was not great, the sound was terrible. I often had to turn it up to almost 100% to hear dialog. Then a different input or channel would be super loud. Spent way too much on this, but learned a lesson.

    Bad experience with product and Best Buy

    TV shows up without any stand or user manual. Set up had to be done using buttons on side of unit because remote didn't work. Even if it had, the remote looked and felt terrible. While trying to set up tv with my Cox set top box, I had to keep leaning the tv forward to see the screen (again because the remote didn't work). Somehow screen got damaged. Best Buy wouldn't accept unit being returned

      Hi there. We are sorry to hear about this experience. The TV should certainly include a working remote, although remote batteries must be installed prior to use.     Picture turning off after less than a month of use

    After only using this TV a few times the screen will go completely dark white watching a program. The audio will still play but the picture can not be viewed at all. Very disappointed as we bought it brand new and have not even exposed it to harsh weather. I also bought the sound bar by the same manufacture so that it would be compatible and the screw holes do not line up. I do not recommend this brand.

      The most common issue is when the TV EDID is set to receive 4K content, but the content source (cable box/media player/DVD player, etc.) is not 4K.

      Here are the instructions to set EDID correctly for 1080P HD or 4K UHD content sources:

      For SunBriteTV Veranda 4K UHD Models

      1. With the TV powered on and fully booted up press the Menu button on the SunBrite remote.

      2. Scroll down and click on “Input Settings”

      3. Scroll down and click on “Set HDMI EDID”

      4. Change desired input to the correct format of 1.4 or 2.0

      HDMI EDID 1.4 is for 1080P HD source input resolution.
      HDMI EDID 2.0 is for 4K UHD source input resolution.

    Picture went bad within 1 year. Can’t believe it. Sound but no picture. Not sure cost of repair but it will probably be more than a new 55” tv. Unbelievable

    Covered Patio TV

    We recently installed a Sunbrite Veranda Series on our fully covered patio and we couldn’t be happier with the TV. The picture is excellent and the unit is impressive looking. We added a Sonos sound bar in a custom frame to complete the setup. Having an outdoor TV system is great and Sunbrite was an excellent choice for it’s product quality and affordability.

    The Geek Squad tech just left my home. My $2000 55" Sunbrite Veranda TV has a blown backlight (I believe that was the diagnosis that he gave me, as I have sound but no picture unless you shine a flashlight at the screen to see the pixels) and will cost more to fix than a new TV. The unit is less than 3 years old, so beyond warranty but far short of the expected lifespan of an appliance this expensive. And even when it worked, the sound was so crappy that I had to purchase the additional sound bar (which is now free to a good home). I've got a well-shaded and protected patio, so I can by 4 regular TVs for the price of this piece of junk and will take my chances. Don't believe Sunbrite's boasts about product durability. BUYER BEWARE!

    DON’T BUY

    Had ours for 4 years. Probably used it 20-25 times and it died. We have mild weather here and the TV was covered when not in use. Talked to Sunbrite. They wanted us to order $700 worth of parts and pay $350 for service!!!! We spent over $2000 for this piece of junk. So this time we’re going to buy a regular TV and get a really good cover.

    43" Sunbright TV not worth the $$

    Bought this in July off 2020. TV won't turn on. Was told at time of purchase that this is a great TV for outdoors as it's waterproof. TV is in total shade and was great until it didn't turn on. Total Tech guys think it must have got hit with a power surge. So my question is why didn't BB carry or sell me into buying an outdoor surge protector?? None of my indoor Samsungs or Sony's blew out. Very expensive TV to die in less then 3 years.
