I've been trying to get this item for a while to shoot steady low angle videos but I couldn't use it since it will not fit my t3i with grip. also the top is not aligned to the bottom seems off by about few inches. not sure if this is a feature or defect.

Good budget stabilizer for smaller DSLR (I am running a Rebel t3i). Not as good as a glide can or similar rig, but much cheaper and will definitely smooth out moving handheld shots.

When I bought this handle the locking device was missing. I had to use a screw to fasten it to my camera. Other than that it is a nice addition.

Unfortunately when I brought it home it didn't fit the specific camera I had. I have heard great reviews for this and people love it. I'm just a little sad it didn't work out for me.

A bit flimsy. And not enough space to carry my DLSR.

Works well with my Nikon D3200 and my Sony handycam for risky shots. Stabilizes your camera much better then in hand not to mention you can use this with essentially most all cameras and even lighting if need be or both at the same time since there is a hot shoe on top!

    Durable Little Handle

I picked up this handle to help me get steady video shots when I don't have my usual stabilizer on me. I also mount my audio hardware to this handle to record interviews and sound effects. I've taken this handle within feet of a moving train and deep underground in storm drains. It is a rugged handle and can certainly withstand whatever you throw at it! I recommend orienting the curved part on the left side of your DSLR. That way you have a grip on the left and you can use the DSLR's grip on the right! This is how you can get steady shots. You can also orient the handle above the camera to get those low shots you see in skate films. The shoe mount opens up a world of other possibilities from lights to microphones, both of which I have used. I recommend this to anyone looking to get more steady shots as well as anyone looking to shoot skate videos!

I love using this with my T3i or my GoPro! It is perfect for run and gun action shooting. I do a lot of shooting on skateboards, bikes, and snowboards so this is perfect for it. I have had it for about 2 years now and it still looks, works, and feels exactly like it did when i bought it.

    Awesome for kids

I bought this when I got a DSLR that took quality videos (D3200) for the image stabilization aspect. Quickly learned that it does amazing work taking video of my 1yo son because I can dangle the camera at arms length. This not only keeps it as stable as one can hope for without spending a lot of money and dealing with a large rig, but gets the camera down into my kid's world without breaking my back and letting me keep up with him. Get an external microphone to mount on the top shoe mount to take full advantage of it. (As well as add some weight for extra inertial stabilization)
