Its pretty good for people getting into photography.

I was looking for a nice slave flash for my camera.

My daughter used it all the time and she loves it.

Purchased to use it for Canon DSLR but it needs 4 AA size batteries. Would be better if it takes a single and bigger battery like that of DSLR cameras. Can't change 4 batteries every week.

Fair flash and lighting if you’re a beginner, but if you’re a pro with a gig, don’t cut corners!!! To all of you beginners!! Pay the extra and get a more expensive flash with longer and wider range. Still a good buy for a beginner.

It burned the batteries out within 5 minutes of using it was horrible I was doing an event and missed more than half the pictures because it burned the batteries so there was no flash.

Stay away if you can, its not really a good flash but for the price it is what it is

When compared to the Nikon Speedlight this flash is definitely worth the money. Works great and I don't have to worry about loosing a $50 flash versus $300+

It did not mount to my R50 directly and so I had to return it. But I had heard good reviews from others.

This is a good product for your camera Specialy if you don't want to spend a lot of money no speed flash, it does have a good quality and alot of option to do photography in low light.

Point blank, It's cheap. It makes a rattling noise that doesn't seem to affect its performance. It's okay; I've had better flashes. As a matter of fact, the even cheaper Altura flash puts out a better output at the same settings. I didn't get to use the flash before I could return it, or I would have. My advice is to save up for a Godox if you can.

The Sunpak 4000 is a easy-to-use versatile flash and works well with my Canon camera

Works fine, but ended up returning it because I found a much more compact and better setup.

Its a good speedlite for beginners. The only bad thing about it the refresh rate. The weight with 4 AA's is a bit on the heavy side too.

Bought this for my Canon pulled it out of the box to check it and it worked well, took it on a photo shoot and it worked for about 15 minutes on preshoot and it would not work again.

I bought this thinking I could have a good second flash for my second camera (I own a Canon Speedlite 430EX II that has served me well). After reading the manual (which is clearly translated poorly from Chinese), I tested it out on the camera... A Canon EOS 6D Mark II). I know this says it auto sleeps after 60 seconds in which you are supposed to wake it up with any button. However, it would shut off at random... anywhere between 5 seconds and 2 minutes, and I had to actually turn it back on. Eventually it would even quit turning on altogether.... This barely after taking 3 test photos. Even when it was not mounted, it would do the same thing. So back to Best Buy to return this tomorrow. I'll just spend the extra money and get another Canon flash.

It’s overheats and gets hot when using longer than an hr.

Needed an external flash for last minute photo session. The instruction manual that came with it was very vague, almost useless. I had to figure it out myself by trial and error.

I'm sure it would have been a great working flash, but it was not compatible with my rebel t7. i was mad that it states on the box that it is. Lesson learned read reviews. I took to long to return and lost 30 bucks (sold it and despite being brand new only got 20 bucks, used towards a compatible flash). I gave it a low rating because technically it is misleading.
