Good, relatively cheap, poor manual
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The flash unit is great, but the manual did not translate well to English, if that’s your preferred language if so you may have trouble figuring out how to use this unit. It fits the hot shoe on my Nikon D3400 fine, activates when it’s supposed to, and how it’s supposed to. I can’t justify the multi-hundreds of dollars flash units often go for, this one serves my meager needs just fine.

It will probably get the job done
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The quality of the bulbs themselves is great, and we all know that’s what we are paying for...but it might be all one is paying for here. The flash itself is flimsy and unstable, and does not actually work as an off-camera flash for certain camera body models that it advertises as compatible. However, it’s a lot of bulb power, and for $70 dollars and 4 AA batteries, it’s not a bad exchange. I would recommend that this is the flash you purchase when you’re out of town on a gig and your flash breaks. Or because your flash breaks on a job and there is always a Best Buy somewhere and they will usually have this option. It’s out the door for under $100. Just remember that you get what you pay for... and it’s a flash out the door. It will probably get you through, but it’s not going to serve a serious purpose, and you certainly aren’t presenting this one as a great gear gift. However... having lived through the days of a good off camera flash costing closer to a thousand dollars out the door... it’s really quite cool to see such affordable options popping up now, and this would be a great flash for a precarious situation where you need reliable light power but might still break the gear. Like backpacking. Or... cliff jumping. Surfing. Boating. Kids. Home remodels. Just don’t try to take it to work with you, you’ll be apologizing and explaining with some regularity.

Bang for your bucks
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bang for your bucks. This may not be the most powerful, but for most events, portraits, and quick easy use... it's great. I needed a flash for a photobooth I did and didn't have money for a big strobe. This does what I need, and with the right accessories is just as effective as a 600$ flash.

One month review
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This light has been a game changer for me. I shoot indoors and occasionally don’t have my studio lights available. It really help my less expensive kit lenses capture a moment. The only thing that I didn’t like at first was the added weight especially coupled with a heavy lens but I’ve gotten used to it.

Flash attachment with Canon R7
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works perfectly for my Canon R7. It’s a little heavy to carry with the weight of the camera added on but nothing too bad.

Did what it had to do.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The flash was useful in a pinch, and managed to help me get my job done when I really need a quick bounce-flash. My only complaint would be how fast it eats up batteries, but hey...it's a bounce flash. It's going to happen.

||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Im so glad it turns out just right. Good but heavy
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It does it's job but has few cons. It's a TTL flash and works well but it's very very heavy. With 4 AA batteries and the item itself being heavy it's a rock. Can be used on a tripod where you do not have to hold it while shooting in a master slave combi.

Excellent flash at an affordable cost!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I take pictures of family to preserve memories for future members since I wish I had pictures of my family elders. With that said, I am by no means a professional photographer so this may be an invalid opinion on the flash, but regardless I will tell you my experience with it thus far (a month). This flash has allowed me to take very good pictures of small family functions (due to covid). My pictures are beautiful...clear and bright. I will say a couple of times too bright, but I blame myself for that since I have never taken a photography class or youtube'd self-help videos. For me, this affordable flash is an excellent value and I am very happy with my purchase.
