Bad pieces, inaccurate and unclear instructions

Horrible instructions and the pieces don’t even fit if you follow them. I literally cannot build the device because the pieces don’t fit. The screw in the “large ball” won’t fit in the base stand hole. There’s not even an inventory of pieces in the instructions so I can’t even tell if manufacturer failed to include something. I don’t know if the other reviews are fakes or if I just got a dud. I have another Sunpak ring light that assembled in like 10 minutes and works great. This thing is beyond awful, waste of $50 and over an hour of my time.
