No instructions and I cannot get my phone to mount. I am very disappointed, but my mom loves it because it works great with her little camera.

The legs are of excellent quality. The smartphone bracket, however, is cheaply made plastic and will fall apart after a few uses.

I guess the saying holds true, you get what you pay for. The tripod looks fine but is really not functional for me. I tried using this with my Canon T7i which is not considered a heavy camera. Problem 1: The tripod will tilt back and forth in only One Direction. When you screw your camera onto the tripod until it’s tight it ends up in another direction and therefore doesn’t allow you to tell straight back-and-forth in the proper direction unless you leave it on the tripod loose. They need to put something that screws up towards your camera to tighten so you could lock down in the proper position. Problem 2: You hold the thumb button to release the tension. This holds fine when sitting on a table but if you try to hold it out as a selfie stick the tension is not tight enough and your camera falls back or forward. These two problems make this tripod unusable for me and only good if you plan on holding your camera in the street upright position and can’t turn the tripod in the direction you’re aiming at. Next time I’ll spend more money and purchase the Joby Gorillapod. Hope this helps.

Love this concept for a phone holder to takes pics. But it doesn’t hold a lot of weight.

It looks good in the package, but the legs are pretty flimsy and the spring-loaded release for the ball head is too strong to use effectively without inadvertently moving the tripod istelf instead of adjusting the camera position.

I would say this tripod is fair. You can feel the quality kind of just cheap... I would recommend if your going to just hold it all the time. Its very easy to tip over onto a table. Depending on what your going to use it for, becareful if your camera is heavy.
