It offers shades from daylight to soft white. It has a direct plug for electric power but also offers a battery option (battery sold separately). The reason for the low rating is the mounting bracket. It’s very loose and doesn’t secure firmly. I’m constantly having to adjust and if you are filing it could change your frame if you are using the iPhone bracket.
