I love the weight of this tripod, and that it folds into a small size; it is great for traveling. I don't love the plastic part that keeps breaking after I have flipped the camera to vertical a few times.

Is this a great tripod? No, not at all. However, is it a great tripod for the size? Yes. Is it a great tripod for the money? Yes. If you want the smallest possible tripod that is not a tabletop model, this is pretty much your only cheap choice, and much better than no tripod at all. I use this with a small mirrorless camera, and for that, it works great.
This lived in my backpack while my wife and I were travelling all over Europe, and I was glad for the small size and weight since we carried everything in our backpacks. It works well enough, and if lost or broken, it is disposable at this price. There are much better travel pods out there, but they are both heavier and MUCH more expensive.

I bought this because at the price, it gave me the capabilities I wanted. It is small enough to fit into a day pack and lightweight. The legs are made of 7 metal sections that extend and are held in place by small ball detents. One of the legs has a twist and lock feature to prevent collapse, but the legs seem to hold pretty well event without it. The instructions say to use fully extended (42") or fully collapsed (11"), I have used it in between without problem. The camera mount swivels up down and clockwise, counterclockwise by friction grip. So far, with light usage, I am happy with the product.

I purchased this as a smaller alternative to a larger tripod and while I was excited this would be compact and easy to use - which it is - as soon as I stated testing out the ease at which I could use this tripod with a recently-purchased camcorder to record soccer matches that will require moving the camera from a wide range of angles, I realized that I would have to spend a lot of energy trying to keep the camera pointed where I wanted and struggling against the controls, as opposed to the larger tripod that I can use with one hand.

Comes in very handy when on the go. Lightweight and folds up neatly. It is a bit flimsy when fully extended, especially when trying to rotate it, not bad stationary. Would recommend for the price.

Like the small size and light weight of this tripod. It is easy to use. Would like to see more dependable way of securing the extensions and perhaps a device to ensure the stand is level.

This is great for setting up a webcam with a DSLR type cameras. However, the "PC WEBCAMS" does screw onto the bolt but to a certain extent. Which doesn't stay at a certain spot you set it. This was with my, Aluratek - 2K Ultra HD Live Broadcast Webcam.
However, the stand is good quality. Easy to understand functionality. Just keep in mind, that some devices might fit loosely.

This is a tripod I carry IN my backpack whenever I go out sightseeing, traveling, visiting relatives. I don't believe in selfie sticks - they all have the same look. I prefer being able to get groups naturally, rather than the "I'm looking to the stars and "smushed" next to 1 or 2 of my "closest" friends. It also serves me well doing night scenes. Its not the sturdiest but it works for me and my DSLR fine. Just have to be careful and make sure that the legs are extended all the way out and locked.

Very small and compact design. Can be carried around with out Feeling like your lugging a telephone poll. Does the job for me. it is pretty sturdy not as adjustable as regular tri pod. This one has snap points so it is not friction stopped like the bigger tri pods. To which the snap poins are extended out all the way or retracted to its compact carry position. the versatility has its limitations when it comes to positioning. excellent for flat ground not so much on uneven surfaces. Takes a minute to figure it out as its concept of how to lock the tri pod into position is interesting. It is not rocket science.

The compact size makes it perfect for travel. Small, lightweight and easy to use. The lightweight design makes the durability questionable but still great for travel.

This is a good tripod for use on a desk because it is small. I gave it it 4 stars instead of 5 because it lacks a pin on the base to secure the camera more firmly.

The tripod is very portable. We took it on several hiking trips and had it packed in the backpack. This tripod, when fully extended out, works very well for taking self portrait. The only reason I would not give this a 5 star is because it was not totally sturdy when we put our DSL camera with long zoom lens on it, especially when it was windy. The DSL with zoom lens was a bit too top heavy for it. Otherwise, it is a good tripod and I love the fact it is so portable. We had many good pix taken with it.

I got this tripod to use for video recording on Christmas Day, this past year. It worked out very well. I'm sure to get much more use out of it. The leg positions make it very stable, for lighter cameras and video recorders. It's compact size gives it a small footprint, compared to full size tripods. It's maximum height is quite sufficient and it collapses to a table top tripod. The pan and tilt functions work smoothly. The locking mechanism, for the legs, it the only thing; that takes a little playing with, to get the hang of using.

Most sturdiest tripod for outdoor activities. There is an attachment I also get from Best Buy in the same aisle to hold my iphone and I can easily record while I train and easily move the tripod to capture different angles.

I picked this up last-minute because I needed a tripod to hold a video camera during a musical performance. It was easy to figure out, will fit any consumer-level camera, and easily folds down to a foot-long to be easily stowed in my bag.
The only issue I have is the construction is a little flimsy. I understand it needs to be lightweight for travel, but I kept fearing that it would get crushed in my bag. Also, the locking mechanism for the telescoping legs can be a little confusing.

Had one of these years ago. It is lightweight and compact yet sturdy enough to hold my Sony Nex5. As I do a lot of hiking (not wilderness survivalist type) I've used it with cheap Cell phone adapter for selfies as well. Small and light enough to keep in backpack without too much trouble. I bought 2 on "open box" promotion. Definitely recommend.

This little tripod is great for traveling! Fits in my bag and is nice and lightweight. Only reason it is getting 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the crooked mounting. The stand is stable, but the mount is not. My DSLR was comfortable on top, but was slightly crooked due to the design of the top piece (too large of a gap under mount holding camera).
