I purchased this to use in several different applications; indoors for pictures/video of a student performance and hopefully to use on a trip for outdoor shots of the family. There are a few things that prevent it from getting a higher rating. First, if the extended legs are not in the locked (using that term loosely) position the weight of my pocket camera will cause it to tip. The locking is not a true lock it's more like the pin slips into a notch but it can easily be twisted out of the notch if not careful. The other issue I had was with the stability of the neck (where the camera attaches and where the arm to move it is.) I took the first tripod back because I thought that it was broken. However the second one I got is the same way. I haven't had time to find a replacement yet so if I use it I just hold on to the arm and kind of lift it into a level position.

I had my camera sitting at the base of my monitor. When the individual who was helping me told me he had tripods I went and looked and this one was well built and affordable. My Logitech works well with it and the tripod is sturdy and allows for movement in other directions too.

Technically, it functions. However, the locking mechanisms for the tripod don’t work, and trying to get all 3 of the legs to the same height and making it stable is a pain. You get what you pay for.

This is a great on the go tripod, but I would recommend to not use it for everyday use. I use mine for filming at conventions where space is tight, and it works very well; however, I can see easily if this was my everyday tripod, it would get beat up bad. Some wear and tear is already showing on ours and we've only had it a short time, so storing in a backpack may not be the best, but it is still working a-ok. Overall, I'd recommend this as a lightweight travel option.

I bought this tripod for my boyfriend and he really enjoys the easy leg extension and option to have it short. Also it's lightweight makes it easy to carry around while taking pictures in nature like setting or still photographs. I would recommend this product and for the price it's definitely worth it.
