i got this tripod with the bundle for my camera.. its sturdy

this tripod works really good. But you need to be careful not to over tighten the thumb screw or it will pop off. I would not recommend this to anyone trying to tighten up the thumb screw.

A good tripod, but there isn't anything about it that makes it stand out. It came free with the camera that we bought. It isn't really compact enough though to carry around easily, so you have to know that you are going to need it in advance.

Works great for my family portrait photography needs

This is an okay stand. The screw that holds the camera broke so I had to superglue it back together. It barely supports my camera but was recommended for it. Will get getting a different stand eventually once I get a newer camera.

Short and sturdy tripod when you need to get low to the ground

I purchased the Sunpak - Platinumplus 4200xl 42 Tripod for workshops that I conduct with customers and am surprised at how sturdy this little tripod it. I just set it on the table and it sits there, nice a steady, even when someone bumps the table. Nice buy.

Did the job required. Work as advertised. Reasonably priced.

Was looking for a cheap stand for photo taking, this is priced at the right not the cheapest - but not the top of the line. Is serving my needs, legs are a little hard to adjust, but locks and holds the camera. table top or on the ground.

This tripod is great for both the camera and video camera. You can adjust it for a level shot on uneven terrain. It is so compact, we are actually excited to pack it when we go anywhere. It gives you a whole different level of stability when shooting you favorite subject.

Used this for christmas photos. It works as described.

Bought this on a whim to use with my camcorder and it worked out great. Even though it's not as tall as more expensive models, it was perfect for shooting casual interviews with people sitting on a couch.

This tripod is very good for the amateur like me. It sets up easily, holds my slightly heavy camera with ease. Only downside is that I can't stow it easily. it doesn't fold very small to fit in an average sized bag. Not a big minus, just for me it has to be carried by hand.

It's a very compact try-pod. I bought it because it was so compact and thought I could take it with me everywhere I go. However, it was a pain to adjust it back from the long legs to the short legs. It was extremely tight and actually hurt my hands by doing so. I brought it over to the store sales associate, she had the same problem. She then tried a brand new one, the same problem. I guess it is not really designed to be user-friendly.
