Good for very light use.

It cost little. Expect not 'award winning cinematography' with this one and DO NOT use for long exposure photography. If you are looking for a cheap, average tripod... this is it. If not, well... you could buy a BOGEN and pay 5 times more.

A good tripod

It has several height adjustments and we have used it with our video/still cameras. Works great, but after one day of VERY minimal use there were several scratches on the legs. Disappointed after one day. My family and I will keep it and it was a good deal, but not confident about longevity. I recommend this product for the occasional family gathering/vacation - not for daily use.

This was the first tripod that I've ever purchased and I can gladly say that I am very satisfied. I bought this when it was on sale, though it is worth the normal cost, in my opinion. The thing I really love about this is the quick-release feature to detach the camera from the tripod. It is very handy and much, much more time-saving than to twist the camera off and all. Great buy!
