The head does feel like it may break easily if treated carelessly as it is made of plastic. But for $10 (I got it on sale) it’s worth it.

Plus, I wanted it to be 'independent' - I had seen some small ones that you could rest on something, but that would not fit my purpose. This worked great.

Fine for casual use

It is fine for casual use but not for anything near its max weight. However, the binoculars I use on it are heavier on one side. If you use something with a better center of gravity, I'm sure this tripod would be perfect.

Love this tripod

Only downsides are that sometimes I struggle to consolidate it into its shortest form. I think I might have accidentally detached one of the legs on the tripod and sometimes the camera setup can be kind of wonky, but I think that is my fault and the product itself is perfect.
