It’s cheap and light and good for light cameras and camcorders. The head does feel like it may break easily if treated carelessly as it is made of plastic. But for $10 (I got it on sale) it’s worth it.

Exactly what I needed for my trip through the west: I wanted a tripod, but it had to be small enough to fit in my luggage and easy to handle. Plus, I wanted it to be 'independent' - I had seen some small ones that you could rest on something, but that would not fit my purpose. This worked great.

I purchased this for 20x70 binoculars. It is fine for casual use but not for anything near its max weight. However, the binoculars I use on it are heavier on one side. If you use something with a better center of gravity, I'm sure this tripod would be perfect.

This item came free when I purchased a camera. Only downsides are that sometimes I struggle to consolidate it into its shortest form. I think I might have accidentally detached one of the legs on the tripod and sometimes the camera setup can be kind of wonky, but I think that is my fault and the product itself is perfect.
