The one I exchanged it for was brand new and has been great!!!! I was using it to make a legacy video of my grandparents and it worked out great!

I wanted this tripod as a backup to the ones I normally use and it didn't last nearly as long as my originals which are still in perfect shape. Although it looks sturdy in the pictures the parts are not very good quality. I give it 3 stars instead of one only because I have seen some very bad ones from china or ones that may come free with a led light or something like that. So if you know what those are like, this one is a step above.

Not very sturdy and if motion was a problem, I'd get a more sturdy one. Also not doing any panning with it - a bit stiff. For a first tripod or one to just throw in the back of the car, it's not bad.
