    The PlatinumPlus 5858D 58 Tripod works great. I use this at my kids sporting events all the time. The tripod's lightweight design and easy-to-use leveling features are very helpful. One of the most convenient features is the extra mount that fits onto the bottom of the camera to quickly attach or detach it from the tripod in seconds--no more twisting the screw on and off--just drop it in and clap it down. Well worth the price in my opinion.

    I bought a new camcorder to record something and I needed a stand. This works really well, for tilting left/right and up/down. I ended up needing a little more height, so I put it on a chair and it was perfect
