Good, sturdy tripod.

The tripod itself is on the light side, which is probably a plus for most people, though I do prefer a more heavy tripod. It features a removable mounting shoe which is great for quickly removing the camera from the tripod for a hand-held shot. The built-in bubble level is a nice touch.

Nice looking, not very good

Owned for 10 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Its a nice beginner tripod and I only paid a third of the original price given that a portion of it broke like a week later simply by falling on its side one time. I wanted this tripod as a backup to the ones I normally use and it didn't last nearly as long as my originals which are still in perfect shape. Although it looks sturdy in the pictures the parts are not very good quality. I give it 3 stars instead of one only because I have seen some very bad ones from china or ones that may come free with a led light or something like that. So if you know what those are like, this one is a step above.
