Great Starter Tripod
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This tripod is good for anyone who needs something on a flat surface. I don't know how much I would trust my $600 camera on the extendable single tripod in the middle, without having a grasp on the camera at all times. For people who just want a simple tripod for normal uses, this is perfect.

Good value
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I use this tripod for sports events where I want to track spurts of fast movement. The firmness with which it holds the camera eliminates some of the jerkiness that I had with my old tripod. However, there seems to be a band where the pan is smooth, then it enters a portion where it requires a bit more effort.

Your average tripod
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great for the price I guess. This tripod is mostly plastic and is difficult to set up on anything that is not perfectly even ground. Good for the price but serious photographers should look for something else.

Not worth the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So the first one i bought was $29 and it broke on the first use. I returned it then noticed it was on sale for $14 so i repurchased it. It is pretty stable worth the $14 but not the $29. I have used it twice so far and so far so good.
