As other reviews have said, it will scratch the bottom of your camera, but I'm not using nice enough cameras to be bothered. My cameras actually scratched it too, so be warned, the plastic is not the greatest. The downward pan worked fine the first night....and I haven't been able to get it to pan down again. Confused as I don't think I broke anything, but I don't want to push it and then end up really breaking it. I haven't extended the legs yet, but I'd say to be careful with them. The level is really nice to have.

Good and sturdy tripod

Good tripod, great price

The bonus cell phone mount is nice - the whole package is about as much as you would pay for the mount by itself. Gets the job done...just don't think I'd buy this if under heavy use.
