I personally use this tripod for making youtube videos (@TheBrotatoes) with my Canon Vixia HF R500. It works fine for my occasional light shoots. BUT, if you are serious about filmmaking, photography, or just have a heavy camera, I would recommend getting something else. Here's why: The screws on mine are a bit loose and you can shake the tripod EASILY. Second, it's not super durable, and one of my feet at the bottom fell of entirely while using it. And lastly, camera movement isn't ideal. For example, I'll sometimes have to make multiple cuts because the camera isn't very smooth when using it. Even loosening the top doesn't help at all. Overall, I would use it if you aren't super serious about photography or if you can't afford anything better.

This is a relatively inexpensive, lightweight tripod. As you would expect of a light-weight item, it is not rock-solid if you are in challenging conditions or if you are holding the camera. I needed it for a self-portrait on timer, it was perfect for that - all the adjustments work properly, and since I wasn't touching the camera, it never moved, took a great shot.

This is a very good product for anyone's first tri-pod. It comes with a built in bubble-leveler, and it swivels very well, the only draw back that I can find so far is that you can't tilt the camera up or down...you can let it rest sideways but not tilt...over all I'd give it a 3.5 out of 5

I used this for taking steady videos and photos with my phone as I do not have steady hands. It works great for what I want. The material seems a little weak and I doubt it would hold a bigger camera well, but, for smaller cameras and phones, it is a good option.
