I bought it and the crank didn't work on the first one. I took it back and the exchange works fine. The crank is stiff and prone to hanging, feels like cheap construction on the vertical extension. It is flimsy enough that breeze blows it around so only use when there is no wind That said it holds a camera OK. It is also light weight so if you wanted to carry it a long way just to have an extra set of hands to catch the whole family in one shot it could do in a pinch.

Disappointed in the shipping box it was in. It appeared that it was just thrown in the back of the delivery truck. Thankfully, the item works.

This was my first tripod and so far I'm totally in love with it. It's not too big nor is too small. It's a little on the light side so in heavy winds it gets a little shaky. I've also been able to set it up in my truck and use it while being a passenger which has produced some cool shots.

The tripod is very durable. I wish there was more of a swivel to the head of it but it does the trick! Very easy to pack for on the go shoots

I used it with my Canon t3i to take night photos of the moon. It expands to just the right height and did a great job. Inexpensive and versatile.

I purchased this tripod for the recent solar eclipse. It worked out great. I used it with my camera and took some excellent photos. I haven't tried the smartphone mount yet, but I hope to do so soon. I recommended the tripod to a woman I met at the eclipse.

Over all it’s fine but one of the legs must be slightly bent since it’s a struggle to extend out.

This gets the job done. Doesn’t do pan or tilt well. Just set it and forget it. If you’re looking for a nice tripod, pay the money to get it! Don’t go cheap on a tripod if you need it for pan or tilt operations. This just is for a basic static camera setup.

I needed something that would not fall down with my DSLR. It holds up ok. I like the vivitar model better because of the level indicator, but this one is ok too. I don't recommend in high wind areas.

Gave this to my husband for Christmas and he's more than pleased! The height adjusts easily and the tilt feature is really nice! He will just use this for personal use and not professional, but it will serve his needs perfectly!
