I purchased this tripod primarily for the price. It is made of cheap plastic, so it won’t hold up under hard use, but it does provide decent usability.

It's easy to use and has a lot of features. 58 inches is a perfect height for me to shoot time-lapse and long exposures.

You get more than what you have paid for. A little more stronger legs would have been unstoppable for this device.

Good heights that can be set. Only thing the crank handle to make it go up more feels brittle and kinda weak. Other then that it's a good starter tripod .

The Sunpak - PlatinumPlus 5858D 58" Tripod - Black is easy to use and set-up. The only draw back is that the legs are made of plastic with time will break or wear out.

Bought this for work (I am a reporter). It is a great budget option if you need a tripod without breaking the back. The various stabilization features are very helpful as well.

This is a decent tripod for the money. It works as advertised and I'd purchase again. However if you're a professional I'd recommend something more sturdy.

When I got the tripod home, I went to put it in my camera cupboard, and realized I had already purchased one last year and forgot I had, because the event I intended to use it on, had not happened yet!

Picked this up around thanksgiving, when I was looking to automate family pictures and being in them. Is flimsy for the advanced user, but serves my purposes well.

This is a little on the light side so best for small camcorder or small camera, would probably want a heavier ozne if using an expensive and heavy camera.

The tripod never mentioned it could hold up a projector but apparently it can. This thing has sorts of nozzles that twist and turn giving u all the movement you desire. Definitely a great purchase!

I love the stand. I wish it lasted longer that it did. Once even one of the locks breaks, the complete stand renders useless for the most part.

It is very easy to use. It seems to be built OK, sturdy enough for my use. It is easy to adjust. I like that it extends to 8". It fits my Sony Handycam just fine.
