    Even with excellect auto picture stabilization this is needed for a steady picture at extreme high zoom. Also very handy for video of events like your kids concerts or plays...

    This tripod is super easy to take along and set up. If you are taking still shots, it's perfect. If you plan to pan and tilt while filming, it lacks the smoothness and silence to get the job done. The leveling bubbles are not set squarely, so they don't really work. It's very light, so wrapping some weight around the base of the mast helps keep it stable.

    My only problem with this stand was that I could not use it! I bought everything online for my wife and bought the suggested stand to go with it only to find out I needed to return it and buy a more expensive stand. It's probably my fault since I am not knowledgable with cameras. My wife has a Canon Rebel T6

    For the price, it's good. It's not very sturdy, but you aren't paying for that. If you want a nice solid tripod, pay more, if you want a decent, low cost one.. Get this.
