beware of over-tightening

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It's very easy to over-tighten the camera (or telescope, in our case) to the little pin at the top. My teen son did this and then couldn't get the telescope off. The entire thing broke when he tried. We ended up returning it. It's a shame because it was more economically priced than the others in the store and it functioned well otherwise.
