A little flimsy

Owned for 1 year when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like the height of the tripod and its easy portability, but this is the third or fourth version of the same tripod I have purchased in the last 4 years. Something always breaks on it. It is also very hard for the camera / phone to stay stable and upright in the holder. Why do I keep buying it? I am usually in a bind, and this is one of a few tripods that Best Buy carries in stores. Let me know if anyone has a solution or better brand to recommend!!!
