Bought tripod at the same time as my camera. It holds the camera still but it sticks a little when turning. I would have spent a few extra dollars for one the turned a little smoother

It looked like it would be sturdy, but the leg material is a little flimsy. As long as no one crushes a leg it should be fine, but that is something I would hope I shouldn't need to worry about.

This will work if you're in desperate need of a tripod, but I don't recommend it for prolonged use. It's very plasticy and cheap feeling, and I don't trust my $800 camera on top of it.

Bought two of these online for delivery. Both units where damaged inside the box upon opening. Have to travel to BestBuy to exchange, a hassle.

I purchased this one because the associate recommended it. I took it home, the swivel was not smooth enough for me. I ended up returning it and purchased a different one from Wal-Mart that came with 2 or 3 adaptors and also $10 cheaper.

    Tripod Review

I purchased tripod to shoot moon shots and other shots requiring still camera. This tripod did not hold steady when set for night moon shots. I was advised by a professional to purchase a pistol handle tripod which, although a bit more expensive, was more reliable for the shots I planned to take. I tried to return this product but was informed that I was one day late. I have been a regular Best Buy Customer for over 20 years. Although I was disappointed by Best Buy Customer Service response, I will return to purchase the more expensive tripod as advised by photo professional. Not satisfied with service, but I am satisfied with other products I have purchased at Best Buy.

I will need to return for a tripod that is heavier built, which will make it more sturdy. Best Buy does have heavier built tripods and that is what i should have bought. I use a tripod more outdoors and this one is just to light.

The legs of the tripod are very flimsy and will bend with even slight pressure. It is ok if you are using it for indoor photography but get a better one if you are going to use it outdoors.

It's light weight, but otherwise came with a broken clip and the feet smelled like gasoline and were sticky, leaving marks on the floor.

This device/tripod it’s not very stable and always wobbles even in a small bit of wind. Also the adjustable legs do not catch after multiple uses

The tripod holds my camera steady. It has built in levels to help adjust on uneven ground. The quick disconnect is easy to attach and remove. It meets all my needs.

It does the job mostly, however the middle piece that slides up and down broke after a couple days. The handle for the raising and lowering of the camera on top also broke off.

You get what you pay for here. It works if you're in a pinch, but eventually getting something that doesn't make you appear as though you're a clumsy photographer will be necessary.

Bought one 2 months ago and I loved it. I broke a leg of that one so I went to buy a new one. When I opened this one, and while I was extending the legs I noticed that it has marks on it. Looks like whomever that was doing QC sucks at their job and just past this when there’s scratches all over the legs and the stands. The level wasn’t even level in its spot!!!! Thanks for raising the price on this product and not keeping your standards!!!!

It was ok at first. I liked it a lot. But then one of the legs bent and broke off. It’s very delicate. I’ve only had this for about a month. Invest in something more sturdier.

It’s fair for a lighter camera and definitely more of a starter tripod. Not sturdy for a heavier DSLR or more heavy duty work.

There is a screw that is supposed to help the part of the tripod to support the camera that is always falling down cos it does not fit in the hole
