Poor Construction

Save Your Money
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After a month of use, the "geared center column" no longer works because the metal teeth stripped the plastic gear. Best Buy won't accept as a return; have to go through Sunpak. You not only have to pay to send it back to them but you also have to include $9.95 for them to return it to you after repair. No way to just get your original purchase price back.

Poor quality plastic, levels were off.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ive bought inexpensive tripods before because most of them do the job. I thought the same about this one but unfortunately, the both levels were off. One of them wasnt even placed properly. The top mount was crooked. I ended up returning it.

Too flimsy for most tasks
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We ordered two of these tripods to take on a trip where we would be hiking and taking photos. The screw on the piece that attaches the camera stripped out on one and a plastic adjustment knob broke on the other. Very disappointing as we had read good reviews of the tripod. Might be okay for light use around the house, but it didn't hold up to activity.
