can't beat the price! pretty nice unit...
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.this is a tripod that has multiple features and is by far the best bang for your buck if your looking for an easily transported medium/ large tripod with a quick detach interface. it is very lightweight making it that much more portable, dual extension tube legs with locking tabs, a short twist lock collar on the inside middle ensuring the tripod doesn't break itself down mid shot regardless of angle, horizontal and vertical axis adjustments (one thumbscrew for horizontal, and a hand twist bar about 9" for the vertical axis), in the midst of all those features it also allows rapid adjustments to vertical raise/ lower the focal plane with a ratcheting gear arm(to raise and lower the camera once your other values are locked into place), rubber feet, wide mouth female contact and matching male quick detach surface that can stay affixed to your cameras tripod bung... i bought this a while back for 69$ and felt as if i was getting a decent deal so for the 20$ price you really won't find much better... do NOT beat on it though, it is definitely not a tactically enabled unit and is for to-&-fro picture taking, not to bounce around in the ned of your truck, all the material is sturdy but thin-walled, and by only downsides to this (because of the price that (I) paid is the small variations in movement while pushing the button because of its light duty build-however it can be overcome by simply letting go of the camera before the shot takes place, and the other downside i found (again based on (MY) price was that the vertical adjustment portion is increasingly wobbly the higher it goes... which is about 18", would have been great if they put some rubber stabilizers in their or something to keep tension on the tube, also watch your finger ;)

Broke almost immediately.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Used this stand once and the tilt tightening mechanism broke immediately. It turns, but does not tighten. Luckily my camera was not a high distance and it did not suffer any damage. I hesitate to think what would have happened to it had it been any higher.

Namesake tripod with poor build quality.
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This tripod is definitely a toy and should be treated like one. It is highly unstable if you have wind gusts of more than 20 mph and the latch for the leg extension lock is a joke. It broke after using it half a dozen times.

Avoid this tripod
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very light weight so only good on solid surfaces such as asphalt or concrete. Also head is poorly made and hard to adjust as the plastic sees to have no lubrication. I sprayed some liquid graphite into it but the fix was only temporary.

Low quality
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very cheap item with a cheap feel. Not a very smooth pan or tilt movements.

Not very good.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This tripod was returned. It kept disassembling itself, and was very slight; not very strong. Not having bought a new tripod in years, I was surprised to see the weak build quality and methods of assembly. It was difficult to keep the thing together. It has major parts that just snap together (or unsnap, in my case).

Disappointing - and odd smell.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've bought many Sunpak tripods, but this one was difficult to move the camera compared to a cheaper tripod I bought. Also had an odd smell. Won't be purchasing this model again.

Didn't work well for my camera
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm a novice digital camera user but my camera never fit well on this stand. I don't know if the problem was the camera or the stand but it just didn't screw in comfortably without the camera being tilted slightly. I ended up returning it and just setting the camera on top of a table/some objects to give a level picture.

Very disaapointed
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.went to set it up and I heard a snap. I had 2 legs extension arm and the legs to snap off. I have bought more sunpak items to give as Christmas presents. I have had it since 111/25/2020. I am not a very happy person with the product.
