We use this tripod once a week to record the worship service at my church. Generally, I do not extend the legs, just have it sit on a table and it's the perfect height. The tripod is inexpensive, but it would not do for heavy use. It is primarily plastic. It is functional, not high quality. But if you are looking for inexpensive, low usage, not abused equipment, this might be just right. We attach a USB camera and to pan, move up and down, whatever. For us, it works great,

At $30 you're not expecting a professional quality tripod, but for the occasional photographer who needs one every now and then, this will do just fine. Only 4 out of 5 stars because the pan and tilt are not smooth, so don't plan on doing any pro moves, just lock the camera on it and take your photo. It comes with a bonus little smart phone attachment that is actually pretty neat. Happy with my purchase at this price.

The stand is a little difficult to get set up at first. It takes some time to get it level but it holds the camera nicely and does what it is supposed to do.

This is only my second tripod. However, it performs great. It is feels very solid, even fully extended. Having levels built into it help immediately for getting it set up right and quickly.

Good product for the cost. It is an easy setup tripod and holds the weight of my camera with heavier lens attached. It's easy to move around and adjustable views is beneficial.

I use this for eveything now. I needed a tripod so bad to record my sons soccer games, and this is so perfect. Its lightweight for easy carry. It stows away perfectly in car or trunk. Just love it. I only wosh it came with a carry sack. Its a must have for those of us soccer moms who havent perfected the art of cheering and recording at the same time.

I belong to a group of users that uses tripod from rarely to occasional. So given the usage I did not want to spend lot on the the tripod. It serves my need and is worth every penny. Two Thumbs up.

Tripod can be used for a variety of videography and camera purposes. Good value, however, sometimes suffers due to being lightweight.
