Cost effective tripod by a reputable company. Sturdy enough for my needs. If you are backpacking in the wilderness something sturdier may be what you need. Does double duty for me...large binoculars and my canon camera.

I recently started filming for a youtube channel and needed a tripod for stability and for filming myself. The Sunpak Platinum Plus offered a few advantages over some of the other tripods that I looked at. The Sunpak was affordable while offering multiple camera mounting options. Which was important to me because I use my go-pro, phone or dslr camera for filming. It is very easy to switch between them. I have a difficult time panning smoothly with the tripod but maybe it takes more getting used to.

This piece equipment is far better quality than the previous ones I use. I would recommend this one not only because of the quality but but because of the price. Easy to set up and put away as well.

This tripod has a lot of nice features for the price. I didn't want to spend a lot of money for a tripod that I was getting primarily for work during the pandemic. However, one of the clips on a leg broke within the first two months. I'm not a strong person, and I wasn't putting it away hurriedly or angrily. I wonder if they just need to be babied.

I purchased this tripod for the features it offered. I like the 58" height, the legs that extend and lock in place, as well as the 3-way pan. The tripod itself is quite sturdy for this price point. When the legs are not fully extended, I like the size and weight that makes it easy for traveling in a suitcase. I purchased a different cell phone holder with quick release that I felt would better serve me (but that's just me). I would recommend this tripod. It's a very good value for the price.

Great value for the price. I also hooked up a selfie ring with my Camera on this and it worked out well. Best Buy sent it fairly quick. Happy with the purchase.
