I recently found myself looking for a full size tripod after the loss of my previous tripod to use for my microprojector, and camcorder. I can't believe how difficult it is to find a decent projector at a decent price anymore. After shopping in 3 different stores, I settled for this one. The higher priced sub-$100 ones I looked at either had unusual, hard to level heads, or had awkward neck extension methods, allowing a camera to simply drop as you loosen it. This one was one of the few I found that was unbroken from the box that had a level, removable mount, smooth raising and lowering neck, and smooth motion. I think it's ridiculous that anymore you have to pay over $100 for most standard tripods to havr what you want. In fact, many higher priced models I found by same manufacturers would lose beneficial features for very gimmicky features or options. So, this tripod works. It's nothing spectacular, but works.

I was looking for an expensive tripod to shoot with that has more height than the smaller tripods I've been using. Saw this on sale for $9 and had to snatch it up. Does exactly what it should do, my only gripe is I wish the turning access was more mechanical so it wouldn't stutter or cause shake. A smooth hand and rotation does help that tho.

So I have a couple of tripods. This is a pretty inexpensive tripod, but it has pretty good features and it is lightweight. That's good to carry around, but don't use it in a windy or unstable place.

Great tripod for the price. It does what it’s supposed to do, hold the camera so you can get a nice photo. Don’t expect too much from it as it’s low priced. Try not to drop it or hit it on things as the aluminum is very thin and will dent and bend.

It is not like Manfrotto, but for the price you also get a smartphone adapter to get photos other than a point and shot or a light DSLR. Good stability and control.
