Real handy for taking photos with my 150-600mm lens when a full size tripod is not practicle, like walking in the woods. Great for stabilizing the camera for a quick shot and it quickly closes up when needed.

Does what I needed, holds the camera steady and as a bonus with a small bracket, you can use it as a long selfy stick!

This is a lot better for travel than a tripod, product seems well built and is light enough for backpacking.

I recently went on a trip to Israel and Jordan and wanted to have a way to take pictures and I also needed a stick to use for the dirt terrain to help balance. I noticed that someone had commented that this monopod was good for both and I agree. Very easy to transport.

Works great in a pinch, especially in the stands when there is not much room. Be careful with your really expensive cameras, if they call it could be ugly (time to replace the camera) tripod is always better if possible.

It's a monopod; what else do you expect? It holds my camera on securely and has great height (I was able to film sitting down with the monopod putting my camera above the heads of the three rows of people in front of me.

I purchased this monopod because I have a Sunpak tripod. The trigger grip fits both which makes the monopod very efficient to use. I am enjoying using this product. It works very nicely with or without the trigger grip.

I had decided to go to the trouble of bringing my 600mm lens to Colorado only to forget my top line monopod at home. Fortunately a friend was coming up from Denver and so I bought online this much less expensive monopod to take its place. When hiking my monopod is also a hiking pole. I was concerned that this lighter version would not hold up in that way let alone my heavy lens. I needn't be concerned. I had no problem at all. Lighter and smaller I plan to make it my suitcase monopod.
