I bought this monopod before a trip to Alaska. We were going to hike in bear country, and I thought it would help me both walk, as a stick, and support the weight of my camera when taking photos of bears. It worked spectacularly! One of the guys along for the hike even said, "shoot, I have a monopod at home I could've brought along!" It worked great, I'd highly recommend it.

I returned a cheaply made monopod that I purchased while traveling for a sporting event. On sale, It cost twice as much as this one. The previous one broke the first time I used it. I returned it to a different Best Buy who had this one in stock. It is much better made (aluminum shaft) and cost half as much regular price. I've used it numerous times since purchase and it works great!

Got this for my son who records high school football from the sidelines using a GoPro. Makes it easy to run the field and then have stabilization

I looked at many different poles for the GoPro. this was the longest one that I could find. I am very pleased with its functionality. it seems to be working out well.

Bought this for my sons football games for when I’m in the bleachers or up against the fences and it makes it so much easier to squeeze in between people to record and take photos and you don’t have to worry about people kicking the leg or taking up much room.

This monopod is very light, I use on my DSLR Sony A57 Camera. Easy to carry on the case.

Great lightweight and inexpensive monopod. I would lightly recommend it.

Worked well as expected but need to get an attachment for top for ease of attaching and detaching camera. Only criticism is the the strap on the case needs to be a bit longer (probably just a couple inches) to make for easier carrying over the shoulder.

This is a great light duty monopod that doesn't cost a lot.

Bought this as I needed it for a specific purpose while filming. Pretty good build quality. I'd recommend it if you are fine with its price and what not.

I purchased the mono pod before going on vacation. I was able to use it as a walking stick when not being used with my camera. An auto release would have been appreciated but I guess I would have had to spend more money.

I never realized how much I would use this monopod until I purchased one. It is very useful and easy to carry around. Now I couldn't live without it.
