It’s done the job for what I need. I’ve put my 6d on the just to add an assist to take photos during soccer. It would be great to even add a little tripod action at the bottom that could pop out but I guess that defeats the purpose of it being a monopod.

I bought this as an option to setting up a tripod to steady my camera. Works great. Not as heavy as a tripod so it is easier to carry. Easier to set up also as it is just one leg. Can carry the camera and leave the monopod extended. Wonderful for taking nature photos as you often need to do this quickly.

I bought this monopod with my GoPro because the sales guy said it was a cheaper alternative to the GoPro version. However the camera attaches to the end with the grip on it and NOT to the other side at all. So if you are buying this to be a cheaper GoPro stick, I would not recomend it. But if you know you want the handle next to the camera, this is a very sturdy and well built monopod for that use.

Wonderful monopod. Very light and yet solid and strong enough to take a full size "35mm" camera with 1000mm telephoto lense

Good monopod...It has good extension...I used to install a Recon III or light scopes that I used to work at night during night patrols....But it is not able to hold the weight of the scope for a long time...

Very easy to carry around and now that I'm not as sturdy as I used to be it makes long exposures come out great. Also sitting at events and recording videos and not getting in everyone's way is great.

I was looking for a cheap and small monopod just so I could get a feel for it. I was thrilled to find out it came with its own carrying case which I can just sling over my shoulder (I wish that strap was bigger so it could go over my back but thats irrelevant).

Sometimes even when you think you are stable you are having movement which could be as close to eliminated by a monopod. Honestly I find myself securing my Nikon D500 to the monopod even when I may not be in need just because it feels more secure and stable and I think eliminates alot of the the camera shake.
