Awesome Unit
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I use this little rockstar a lot for my smaller camera and for Macros, it does not support the weight of my SLR (Film) camera but is rather awesome for my 80-200mm zoom lens!!!! allows me to steady the camera and overall take some amazing low to the ground shots!!!!

Great Mini For Light Cameras
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the Mini-D to go with the MS Studio Live-Silver webcam. I wanted the ability to move the cam around for more viewing options and it has worked great for the application. The parts are a combination of metal and plastic parts. Better than the supper cheap. I can see it is not designed for heavy cameras but, I have been able to use it with my Sony Video Cam giving a great little desk support system.

Broke on first use
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The first time I opened it and pulled out the extensions it seemed fine but one leg wouldn't go back in no matter what we did. If yours doesn't break right away, then the stand is good and stable. But mine doesn't close all the way so it doesn't fit in the pouch, so I can't use it much.

Returned it!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I returned it for one reason...the legs will not spread out enough for me to feel that the camera is secure. A little bump and it will fall over. This could be alleviated simply by doing what I recommended above. Otherwise, decent construction...no complaints there.

Great for the price!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this just to have a small tripod to steady my pictures and videos. I think it works great! I have a Samsung - 10.2-Megapixel Digital Camera (the blue one) and it works perfectly with it. The mount does not fall over and the ball head stays put when I want it to. I have also just recently purchased the Sony Handycam DCR-SR47 camcorder and it hold that up too with no problem, although I will be a bit careful when using the tripod with it since the camcorder is a bit on the heavy side (for the size of the tripod). This is definitely a good purchase for someone who doesn't want to spend $50 or more on a tripod and just wants something that will get the job done.

Fine for Home use.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased same as a stand for my internet camera. It is constructed of light weight materials. I believe that it is or will be great as a stand for a internet camera or smart phone.

Nifty tool
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Took me some time to get used to this particular Tripod, but when using it with my Canon G12, it's everything I need. Small enough for quick access during hikes, 3-stage extendable legs, pivoting head and rubber feet. Only thing, when I was first playing around with it I thought one of the legs was broken as it wouldn't collapse.. But quickly discovered it locks in at full extension and can be released with a twist! Small, great, cheap.. does the trick.

Bad quailty
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. All these 5 star reviews are deceiving. Yes the price is cheaper but no one seems to be talking about how cheap it's made. I didn't expect it to be AMAZING quality but I did expect to do one thing, and that's hold up my camera. It doesn't. It can be extended 2 levels to make it 11" total in all, but the second level doesn't lock. So once you put your camera on it , it just slips down slowly, or worse, falls over. I am really unhappy with this product and will be purchases a better quality one.

Standard tripod
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nothing too special really, this is a standard mini-tripod. The feet could stand to have a little more grip, but otherwise no complaints.
