Need a cost effective nice tripod that works well with other brands adapters, this is it. Easy to set up and take down. Fairly compact and light but durable. Yes there are better tripods but they come with a significant cost increase. Great tripod for the cost.

This was the first tripod I'd ever used with an adjustment grip and I am pleasantly surprised with how tight everything is. Some less expensive plastic tripods are unpredictable or slip when putting a heavy SLR on them, but this one holds up very well.

I've made many purchases for tripods and have always been disappointed as to how they would fall apart so easily. My latest purchase has been the most satisfying as it has held up better and I'm confident that it will last longer than it's predecessors.

It was a Xmas gift to our son inlaw but he loved it and is using it regularly with his photography. It works perfectly with his camera. The staff was very helpful in picking this item.

Great, sturdy tripod - Getting used to Trigger

This is a good sturdy tripod, but I would still be careful with it. There are plastic parts that could break if it gets thrown around a lot (which I don't do). I'm a casual photographer. I like the height and how it adjusts. However, I'm still getting used to the trigger mechanism. I think this is more for camera photos rather than for video. It is difficult to move side to side without any up and down movement. This is not a knock on the tripod itself, but more so on the style of the tripod. There is a way move side to side without using the trigger mechanism, but I'm not sure that it was totally meant to be used that way as it is not a 100% smooth movement. However, I would mainly recommend this for photographers, but not as much for video cameras.

This Sunpak PlatinumPlus Ultra 6000PG 620-600-UPGBB tripod features self-leveling rubber feet and a bull's-eye level helped me to get steady footage and precisely framed photos. The geared center column enables easy height adjustments.

Very versatile and light. Easy to pack up and take with you on a hike. works great on uneven surfaces. Excellent for everyday use by everyday people. Not so great if you use heavy lenses and heavy cameras like a pro might use.

Versatile for the many adjustments available and sturdy while mot heavy or awkward. I bought it to hold/stabilize binoculars for pond watching but it is fun to look at the full moon too. Could be my new best friend.

I think it’s great value for the price! It’s not the heaviest tripod, so if you are using a super heavy camera/lens I might use a heavier tripod. I love how light weight and easy it is to transport it places!
