I use it all the time to take pictures and record videos. I’ll probably start using it to do tik toks and start filming YouTube videos. I posted some pictures I took using the ring light. Love how they turned out. Definitely would recommend. If you like taking pictures or vlogging this is definitely for you.

The phone holder broke after only a couple of uses. The legs aren’t stable either and closing them up is difficult. Being unusable after such a short time is very disappointing.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but this cellphone ring light stand seriously deserves some praise. As someone who’s been dabbling in vlogging and social media content creation, good lighting has always been a challenge — until now. The light itself is bright, adjustable, and gives my videos a clean, professional look without those harsh shadows. I love that it offers multiple brightness levels and color temperatures so I can tweak it depending on the mood or time of day I’m shooting. The stand is sturdy and surprisingly lightweight, making it easy to move around or pack up when I’m on the go. The adjustable height and flexible phone holder mean I can film from just about any angle, whether I’m doing sit-down chats, product unboxings, or overhead shots for tutorials. Overall, this ring light stand has made a noticeable difference in the quality of my videos and photos. If you’re a vlogger, streamer, or anyone who just wants to step up their content game, I highly recommend it. Definitely one of the best small investments I’ve made for my setup!

This is a great tripod. I like the extendable legs, but I’ve noticed they do tend to slide on smooth surfaces, it’s not a dealbreaker for me. I would have liked for the light to be be able to adjust without moving the phone with it. The tripod is not heavy and is easy to transport. The legs are a little flimsy, but they’re stable and best used indoors.

    AAHH YES! Sunpak!!

A great table top solution! This is my second Sunpak ring light and what I love about Sunpak and this ring light specifically are all the color/ light options. Great price too! You can choose from warm/ tungsten lighting or bright white light. You also can adjust the brightness levels on a remote control on the usb chord. This is a usb powered light in case you need to know and you may attach the ring light not only to the cell phone holder, but aslo directly to the tripod itself. I personally do not use the cell phone attatchment and just put the ring light on the tripod directly. Besides using this on a table or desk top, the tripod extends and stands 42 inches tall and is fairly sturdy. ** It is important to know that when you have the legs fully extended that it requires some twisting and pulling to make sure all the joints on the legs are in place. Give the tripod a good once over/ test before placing anything on top.

I love the ease of use! Also, the ability to change the brightness of the light is absolutely awesome. However, the tripod is quite flimsy and the legs were hard to get to go back up. For a table or desk top it is perfect, but the tripod extensions are not up to par. Otherwise I would give 5 stars!!

This is a great inexpensive ring light. It's easy to set up and use. Unfortunately it smells really terrible. I've had it set up on my desk for over a month now and the smell never goes away. I honestly wish I could return it but I bought it during the shut down and the timeframe to return it expired.

The product itself was good . The lights were bright and very varying in color .. being that they had 3 color dimensions. Easy to pack up . Although, mind came with a wobbly third leg so I have to position it a certain way .. other than that good product

The portable vlogging kit is perfect for taking selfies and is extremely bright! Such a great purchase for the cost and really changed the quality of the pictures. Only downside is you have to be careful when you set up the tripod because it will fall over.

Decent but a little wiggly on the tripod legs. You really have to get the legs just perfect for good stability. The ring is smaller than the other lights I have purchased. I use these ring lights to light the area where I photograph all of my eBay and Poshmark items for sale. It does do a good job throwing clean white or warm light of your choice. It has several options for light- warm to cool and you can easily adjust the brightness as well. It doesn’t come with a plug, the end is usb only so grab a ac block when you buy this because you’ll probably want to plug it into an outlet. Definitely a good option for a low cost ring light.

Very Useful, but a little annoying

For the price of this product, it works great! My iPhone 11 fits in the holder even with my Otterbox case on -- just barely, but it DOES fit, which is great. I love the ring light and the adjustable legs, but they are also the more problematic parts of the product. The ring light slides into a slot at the top of the stand and has a little wheel for you to tighten to hold it in place. However, even when the wheel is as tight as it goes, the light falls right out. Luckily it is made of plastic and not glass, or I'd have broken it the first time I used it. In addition, it is not battery powered but rather must be plugged in with a USB, which can be limiting in terms of ease of use. The adjustable legs are nice, but I almost NEVER use them, because the telescoping design is very stiff (the telescoping part is metal), making it difficult to telescope to exactly where you want. When you want to collapse the legs, the pins you have to squeeze in on either side to allow them to slide back in are very small and difficult to push in, meaning that collapsing the legs is often a struggle. I try to only use it fully collapsed because it's too aggravating to struggle with every time if you're making videos often. If you're just starting out and are going to use it mostly on a table or desk, I do think this is a great, inexpensive option. It works well for what it is, just has a few limitations.

I purchased this item to improve my pictures for ebay listings. It has helped with my smaller items and the ability to keep my cellphone stable while taking pictures has helped a lot. Although, for picturing larger items or clothing I definitely will need the larger one. I have found this to be extremely useful for any kind of detail work I do while painting items or repairing them. The tripod itself isn't very sturdy, but it does work with some fidgeting. All-in-all it's a great choice for someone on a budget or someone who needs portability. Doesn't take up much space and easily folds up for storage. Still glad I purchsed it but will need to buy a larger one as well.

Good quality. The ring light's brightness is adjustable which works great depending on how you want your photo to look. The stand could be a bit more stable, but it works well enough.

The stand works decently. The rubber over the legs smells very strong and it still smells months after using it. The light is decent but is reflected in surfaces easily due to it's positioning. It's awkward to shoot things in portrait because the light is then on the side. Did the job in a pinch, but probably worth it to spend more. The legs are hard to extend and retract as well.

This does the job and more. I am not a vlogger, but perpetually in virtual meetings, and sometimes it's just easier to use my phone. However, I was looking for a hands free stand I could use anywhere without worrying about lighting restrictions. So no more shadows or lighting limitations and it's ready to use out of the box. It even has a few frills, which includes 3 lighting modes and a dimmer for each. If you're a clutz like me, this is also for you. The ring is a plastic IED light so no worries about it breaking if knocked over unintentionally. The tripod legs are adjustable; however, sometimes not easily, so a little patience is required. I have a Note 10 so it fits larger phones. I also am a big fan of it's portability and sturdiness. I definitely got a big bang for my buck.

I bought this tripod vloger light whatever the kids call it for my 8 year old granddaughter who loves taking pictures and videos. She was very happy with it and started using it right away. The tripod is easy to set up and adjust, and the light has different brightness levels and colors to suit different scenes. The tripod is also sturdy and stable, and can hold her phone or camera securely. This tripod with a light is a great gift for young photographers who want to improve their skills and creativity. It is also a fun and educational tool that can spark their interest in photography and videography. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a quality tripod with a light at a reasonable price.

I bought this item about a month or so since I will be recording my monologues in class. I have used it several times and I don't regret buying it. The only downside was one of the legs was shorter than the other two, so I had to make sure that all legs were even on the floor before recording. You can change the lighting depending on what you're aiming for: white, warm and cool. Excellent choice that can reflect the atmosphere of the video or vlogger.
