This is okay. The light is very bright and the controls for different light colors and intensities are easy to control. I would advise getting a kit where the phone is within the light ring as opposed to above it. Also, the phone holder does not open up wide enough vertically. So the camera eye isn't dead center inline with the light. Also, the cord could be longer and an AC plug would be better than the USB charging end.

This thing does help a bit with lighting to be sure. It won’t be the only thing you would want to depend on for your face lighting, but it gets the job done and especially if you have some light coming from another direction. This will fill in the blanks. The balance on it is a little funny though. Need to have the legs spread a bit wider than you think to balance without a chance of falling

This purchase was a great find for me. The light is clean and clear or dim it for different affects. Multiple different environments. I’m impressed with is versatility of the device. The only down side is that the legs are some times hard to push back in when you are done. If that was better I would have given it a 5 star. I also bought 2 others to give as Christmas gifts and they loved them also.

I purchased this as I am now teaching from home and noticed the lighting wasn't always great. It was super easy to put together and to start using. The only complaint I have is the very strong chemical smell it had coming out of the box. It took a while for this to go away.

The light is great. The connection to the light from the tripod is a little problematic - it has to be tight but then is hard to undo. The legs are also a little flimsy. And I do have concerns the bulb will break so I like to undo it and put it in a case (not included).

It started out ok, very simple tripod to use, but unfortunately after bringing it with me to New Jersey to take some photos the plastic area where the rotation area snapped off and i was unable to fix it. Might be best to redo this product and make it more sturdy for future uses!

The light itself is fine and good for improving the lighting in pictures and videos. But the tripod is garbage. The legs are flimsy and don't stay locked in place very well. The part that holds the phone is iffy and doesn't hold the phone very well, with or without the case. Don't waste your money. Buy something more sturdy. If I wanted just the light I would have bought just the light. The stand is almost useless unless you're desperate.

Good portable stand for the money. The legs are thin and it isn’t the sturdiest. Legs easily extend. You have to push in little metal balls to close stand. I used to video my daughter’s volleyball games and it worked well.

Awesome TableTop to Floor Tripod

I was in need of a tripod to hold my phone while in video meetings. It comes with a wall outlet plug but I removed it and just plug the USB into my laptop for the energy source. It does the job perfectly especially the light ring. It comes with 3 different lighting settings with 9 levels of dim to bright for each setting, that's 27 choices of lighting. If I'm not using the tabletop, the tripod leg extension from the floor up is perfect if I'm on my sofa or recliner. I haven't quite gotten into TikTok or Vlogging, but I can say this would work perfectly for extra needed lighting. The light ring is 6" circumference.

We used for zooming our wedding and found it worked easily for our needs. This is not super high quality as it can easily come apart if you aren’t careful, but definitely great for a starter.

If anyone had a hard time setting this up, that is complete user error. This thing is about as straight forward as it gets. Looking for a tripod? Right here. If a ring light is in any way desired or may be used one day even better. Its completely detachable and is suprisingly bright with alot of brightness settings.
I have a NOTE 20 Ultra or + in an otter box and my phone just make it into the clamp. As far as i know phones dont get much bigger than this one so 99% of people should not have an issue.

Decent quality does the job, but sometimes I have trouble getting it to stay put, the cell phone holder slips and turns upside down sometimes even after tightening it.

I chose this one in particular because I double it as a lamp sometimes. But I mostly use it to create content for Patreon. This whole quarantine situation has made me realize that we wait for stuff we buy online when services like Bestbuy offer curbside. Not renewing prime ever again. We see how useless it is when there's a pandemic. And we come crawling back to Best Buy... truth be told.
This thing was a gem though. I thought it was small and like had to put it on a table. Then I freaked it out when I pulled the legs out. If you want the eye rings around your eyes, you gotta place a separate tripod and have it inside the ring.
If you don't care about that you can use the phone holder right under. Best part about this is that you don't have to assemble it like the ordinary one. Runs off a USB. cant ask for more.

Great for zoom calls. I got tired of trying to moving home lamps around to get balanced light. Am tired of seeing others on zoom with their faces too dark, and didn't want to be one of those. This is a great solution. Very portable. Brightness and tint can be adjusted to make skin tones appear natural. I haven't done video recording with it; didn't buy it for that purpose. However, the smart phone holder looks good and the light adjustment capability should make it work fine for that.

This is a you-get-what-you-pay for piece of equipment. I have been using it once or twice a week since last July. The ring light worked well for my purposes. The tripod legs didn't always stay put and the phone holder is a little too snappy. The screws needed frequent tightening to hold things upright. Today the ring light wouldn't turn on at all. So, considering the frequency of my use, I definitely felt like I got my money's worth as it was so affordable, but I am disappointed it didn't last a full year.

I love the lighting. The only thing I wasnt so crazy about was how the legs of the tripod are. They are so thin. Other then that it holds my phone perfect and the lighting is great.

The lighting is great! You can alternate it from light to warm lighting. The legs aren’t stable though and it’s not portable. You have to plug it in the wall!
