Tripod doesn't quite cut it

The product is actually very cheap plastic including all the adjustment knobs and base plate. I gave it 2 stars since it was really intended to hold a webcam on a desk without extending the legs. It serves that function. If you're looking for something sturdier, spend a few extra bucks.
