Great idea, poor execution

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.PROS: LED light is great, phone holder is solid CONS: Tripod metal is thin and cheap; the mechanics of the tripod are complex, the telescoping rods are weak and not sturdy when extended, the light ring mount and the phone mounts are questionable when mounted; the tripod legs are weak and unstable; the single-lock mechanism is poor, and the legs could not safely lock under the weight of the equipement, which causes them to spread out and collapse.
