When I was a kid I didn't read Supergirl comics but the show is very good. You get to see Superman in shadows but he gets a chance in season two.

When i saw this on tv i was in love with this show. Now waiting for the dvd was torture but well worth it.

Season 1 of Supergirl is pretty good. It definitely got me hooked onto the series. The lead actress does a good job of portraying Supergirl.
