Very disappointing Superman movie
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was so pumped for this movie. I own the entire original comic series, but I also understand that most movies need to stray from the original literature for the sake of time and presentation. I'm also a big fan of Adam Baldwin (voice of Superman), so i was willing to cut this one a lot of slack. The end result was really bad. The script was painful (I know it's a cartoon aimed at kids, but even they would pick this out), but even worse than that was Doomsday was little more than a cameo in the SUPERMAN VS. DOOMSDAY MOVIE! If you thought you were getting a Death of Superman movie, you will be sorely disappointed.

Disappointed
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As big a fan of Superman as I am, I could not give this movie a high rating. Obviously, I was able to find a positive, but overall was very disappointed. If you've read the comic book or even the adaptation by Roger Stern you'll know that this film did NOT follow the storyline very closly at all. The voice talents that were casted were questionable, the script was way off base, and the animation was mediocre at best. The one positive I found in this movie was the fight scene between Doomsday and Superman. It was actually pretty cool. Go read the comic books, or Roger Stern novel.

Woest Superman Movie Ever
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I just got done watching this, the worst of all the DC Animated films. Badly drawn. Lois's chin comes to a point. Superman's face has very odd lines. The animation looks to be several steps down from what you may be used to from Justice League/The Batman/Legion of Superheroes. The makers have an odd fascination with showing terrified children. The violence is over the top and very inappropriate. I know it's PG-13 but kids are going to watch it and there are like several grisly murders that happen just "off camera". You know they were thinking how much can we get away with and still be PG-13. Parents beware. Definitely not for kids. Right to lifers beware. This wins hands down for the most death ever in a DC project. And if you liked the comic, forget this. Veers off and never looks back. It could have been so much better if they stayed true to the source material. Just trash.

completely inaccurate
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I own the entire comic book series of Superman vs doomsday. The movie isn't even close to the comic book series. It is completely inaccurate and not good at all. It doesn't even loosely follow the series. Don't waste your money if you're a comic book fan. This barely even covers the series. Displeased about six comic books into a five minute battle scene. It doesn't even follow the actual storyline of the comic.
