This is great movie about the strongest DC character. The movie was different from the graphic novel. You must buy this movie and comes with a digital copy. Superman gives an epic performance against one of his greatest foes.

Bought this for my brother who loves reading comics.

DC has started releasing these Combo Packs that feature a Graphic Novel of a great classic DC comic book story bundled with a Blu-ray and DVD of the official DC animated adaption of that story. The one I bought was the Death of Superman. Back in the day, this comic book story made national news and ended up being one of the best selling graphic novels of all time. Its an amazing story of how Superman fights and falls defending the world against Doomsday, an unstoppable monster basically designed to destroy Superman. Its a great read. The movie version doesn't capture the epicness as well but the animation is great and serves as a brief and fun tribute to one of the best comic stories ever told. I look forward to picking up with combo packs which feature other popular characters like Batman and Wonder Woman.

It's easy to see why this is the highest selling comic in history (I think it is anyway). I was trying to collect this whole series a few years back after I won the first full appearance of Doomsday at an auction. It's a great story line and the DVD doesn't follow the reign of the Supermen arc but doesn't just leave him dead at the end either (this is from the 90's so it shouldn't be a spoiler that he isn't still dead from that event). Instead it's a new truncated version of that arc. This is probably for the best; I tried to explain the story to my date for Batman vs. Superman, and later to my parents after they saw it (none of them comic readers) and I thought their heads were going to explode. This is a safe version for newbies to comics lol!

I prefer this one to the new remake. Old school animation.

It is very well crafted for this 90s best comic book saga of Superman and Best offered it in this cool graphic art novel packaging!

It's Superman, what is there to not like? I would have loved to have had the whole collection but they were sold out.

I like the hard cover, I caught this in store on sale at a great price. I like that it comes with the digital copy so I can add it to my Vudu library.

Voice characterizations are top notch along with the animation. It broght the comic book alive. Packaged with a hard covered comic makes it a bargain.

Great comic and movies. I would highly recommend this set. If you love comics and animation.

Good to use as a replacement for pulling out the original comics from out of their protective sleeve.
