This was the first movie/comic combo pack I ever purchased. I’m a huge Superman fan and enjoy the comic. The blu-ray transfer is very good to go along with a decent telling of the comic book. I enjoyed the packaging even though it fits nowhere on my blu-ray shelf. Still a cool version to pickup.

The graphic novel was groundbreaking when it originally came out, the DEATH of Superman! The movie was not accurate to the comic, and was pretty disappointing. For the price, it's worth it. If you're a real collector, probably won't want this because it comes with the lame movie stuffed in the back of the graphic novel.

so the part in the new movie where Superman and others battle Doom was very lame but if you really want to see a good story about superman dyeing (shouldn't be a spoiler unless you live under a rock) watch this one instead or in addition.

The death of Superman comic series was a great part of my childhood. I purchased this collectors set mostly for the novel. The blue ray was OK but should have been more like the comic. This would be a 5 star review if the movie was better. If you are fan or collector of comics, this is a must buy.

I had never read the comic sequence that lead to the most sold comic in history. I'm glad that I got this, so I could see the chain of events. The movie doesn't go into the full details that the comics do, especially with his resurrection, but that's alright. They still did a great job with the story.

The packaging of the Comic Book and movie is good. Just to warn you that the included movie is not the story in the comic book. Also, you get one DVD and 1 Blu-ray version of the movie and a code for the digital download. This made a great present for a cousin who is starting to get into comic books.

The story about Superman death was really well written. A lot of action that keep you into it the whole time. Washing this superhoroe make me feel like a little boy again.I'm a cartoon fanatic and I really enjoy watching this movie!!!

The movie was based of a Graphic Novel with the same name that I have. Superman vs Doomday and Doomday kills Superman by beating really bad and no criminal has ever beaten Superman like that since DarkSide did it the Superman series that came on WB.

I'm not a big fan of superhero material, but "Doomsday" offers great visuals in two forms, a handsomely-printed comic book and an 80-minute film version on both Blu-ray and DVD. The two forms complement each other nicely, making this a fun reading and viewing experience.

If you've seen any of DC's other animated comic book films, then you have a good idea of what to expect. Animation is good but not amazing (though better than Marvel's similar movies). Some good background information provided by bonus material No Ultraviolet copy included since this is an older release.

He says it is a graphic but a good movie. He has watched this movie a couple of times. But I don't think it is good for younger than a 14 year old or older child.

My granddaughter has watched this movie everynight for 2 yrs when she was little and the dvd was scratched beyond repair.. We watched it the night we got it.. Her eyes just lit up.. thank you..

This Doomday is Doomday. Doomday in BvS.....just a giant frog Shreik mutant baby if Sherik was violanted by a giant mutant frog. Also this movie take place of the death of Superman by the hands of Doomsday.

The price of this combo was great, I would highly recommend that Best Buy continues these kind of deals. For a comic book nerd like myself but also a big movie fan, I am all about deals that combine both of these.

A classic animated film focusing on Superman and his battle with the infamous Doomsday. Definitely recommend of you're looking for a DC film that takes a hero to the brink and watch him pull through.

Providing the original book series in hardcover, along with the DVD movie is excellent. The DVD movie gives more in-depth information than the original Doomsday book series. Made the storyline more enjoyable.

Loved it, for the first animated release after the end of the 'Justice League' series, was a great take on the 'Death of Superman' storyline and how Clark and Lois hook up in the Fortress of Solitude!

the movie was fun and the extra features dvd gave you some behind the scenes information as well as the graphic novel that i let my nephew read

I recently upgraded this movie to blu-ray from my DVD original just because I really enjoyed the story line. I bought it for the picture and sound that the blu-ray content provides and the good price makes it worthwhile being only a few dollars more than the DVD.
