No distortion at all unlike a klipch one i had but it felt almost negligible in its volume and its app wasnt difficult to understand for me as a newer person especially when certain settings can damage this very expensive device

This packs allot of punch in a Small package. Nice tight bass that makes movie watching and gaming allot more entertaining. If you're a movie or gaming enthusiast this sub just adds to the experience to your home theater setup!

Purchase of the SVS SB-1000 Pro Subwoofer was a replacement of the same model (SB-1000 Pro) purchased in 2015 which had performed excellently until its amp died. The current model has performed equally well for almost the same price as the 2015 version and in addition is digital with a cleaner amp. It has a (bluetooth) phone app that allows changing settings (volume, phase, low pass filter, polarity, EQ, etc.) as well as setting "presets". WOW! Plus, purchasing it through Best Buy came with all the customer service that I have come to rely on from them.

This subwoofer is matched to a new Denon X1800 Receiver and performs beautifully. I purchased this because of a size restraint in my built in cabinets and was concerned the 12 inch speaker would not produce what my older sub did. I was pleasantly surprised - it is a great match for my new receiver. Even better is the fact I can make adjustments via an app on my phone.

Exellent subwoofer. Moving up to the SB-3000 pro if budget allows. I havent had much experience with subwoofers but i have been an audiophile for several decades and know good bass when i hear it. These subs reproduce bass in a clear, realistic, and solid bottom that you can feel as well as hear. I really have no need to look elsewhere unless i am putting $100,000 or more into my system. Then i would probably do some shopping. I know theres better out there but the prices are in the stratasphere on those

I purchased this to replace a 12" ported Klipsch reference subwoofer and let me tell you the sound difference is night and day. This is so much cleaner with a noticeable punch that the old Klipsch just doesn't possess. I listen to a lot of metal and rock with fast transitions and this sub is able handle fast decay music without distortion and boominess like a ported sub produces. This makes the music sound fuller in all the right frequencies without taking away from the mids and highs. My only regret is not buying it when it was cheaper.

The sub is small enough to fit in most places compared to other subwoofers. It has decent bass extension and sounds good in my living room. My living room is an open concept design connecting to the kitchen, dinning, and breakfast rooms so not every subwoofer sounds good.

Excellent- I have two - driven by Marantz receiver. And definitive towers 9040 center. And in wall definitive surround. More than enough power. Sound is phenomenal. Normal listen at comfortable level marantz is not even half way. If I am alone for movie maybe half way volume. If you want a great movie to check sound - Master Commander or Angry birds. Amazing

Amazing! The SB-1000 Pro performs beyond expectations and actually makes all my other speakers sound better. I was using a good unit priced around $300 and it just seemed to produced thuds and wafts so after more than five years I sold that old unit and purchased the SVS SB-1000 Pro. It has changed my listening experience so much that I had to get on here and right a positive review. I am so impressed by the quality from SVS. Yes, it did cost a little bit more money, but it is definitely worth the investment. I would recommend this to anyone looking for high quality punch.

bass was addictingly good and I never even maxed it out, zero distorting for small rooms/medium sized rooms.

Still getting used to this, but it seems like a competent performer musically. I enjoy the easy to use app and all the features is allows for. Great fine tuning ability right from your listening chair. Very good looking too, and surprisingly small.

Wow! This sub is perfect for music. Even complicated base lines are clear and crisp because it is sealed instead of ported.

This Sub earns 5 stars based on what it actually is/does. My previous Sub was a wall shaking, widow rattling beast with "SUB" par( pun intended) circuitry that failed with only three year of usage. Initially I was disappointed with the seeming lack of Umphf from the SVS, however the more I listened the more I came to admire the perfect balance of sound it brings to my small 5.1 setup. It compliments, not over powers it. So if you crave wall shaking window rattling wattage opt for the 2000 or 3000 series, I found the tight clean sound from the 1000, was all I needed.

The immersive dimension our new subwoofer gives us, keeps us coming back for more movies and music. Really enjoying the experience of feeling the sound! Small enough, to not see.
