This was a gift for my son and he liked it for while and then just put it up. Had some weird issues with it but we never looked into it anymore.

We bought the hoverboard on 12/23 for our kids. They loved it. However, on 12/29 it developed a condition whereby it would not turn off and would emit a fast beeping noise after a time in inactivity. Nothing we did changed the behavior, so I had to pop the battery out. On 12/30, I took the unit back to my BB and asked for an exchange. To be clear, I simply wanted a new unit, no different than the one I bought back on 12/23. BB was out of stock for the unit and said one would be shipped to me, which I said no problem. However, BB then UPCHARGED me the difference between the price I paid back on 12/23 and the price on 12/30, which happened to be $30 more. I have never heard of a situation where I took back a defective product and to get a replacement I had to pay more than I did originally! Since my kids loved the board, I went ahead and paid the $30 + tax, however I then called BB's main customer service and eventually they committed to sending me a $30 gift card. I was advised that stores set their own return policies or at least have latitude over some of it which is why I was upcharged, but the rep did agree that the upcharge was ridiculous. Be wary next time you buy something from BB at a good price - make sure you ask what happens if you have to exchange it within the return period but if the price has changed. Absolutely ridiculous.

I've purchased two and both started to keep beeping after a month of use. After some research online, it seems the issue is some cable connector being losen within the board, which I cannot open to fix as that would void the warranty, however, warranty claim require shipping back to the manufacture which cost about $50. So it's been beeping non-stop until the battery is out. The unit would not turn off too!! At least it didn't catch on Fire!!

Power button stopped working. Remained on and wouldn't shut off, had an alarm to go with the problem.

When my son opened this on Christmas morning, it did not work. We called the company who couldn’t help. Said to just send it back.

I bought this for my son first day he rode it no problems. But when he was tired of riding he went to turn it off. and the power button would not turn it off so for it to be new it gets a one star.

Fun to ride. It took three of these machines before we got one that works.

We purchased this hoverboard during Best Buys Black Friday deals. Given the good ratings for Swagtron I thought we would be in the clear. The hoverboard malfunctioned and threw my daughter off 10 minutes after riding it on Christmas Day. The Swagtron company was not open on the 26th and when they did open only a recorded message instructed you to fill out a repair form.

Battery on this scooter does not last very long. Speed is average. It's appropriate for a beginner.

Luckily I opened the box before Christmas morning because i discovered there wasn't a charger in the box! I ordered online to avoid the hassle of going to the store, but now I have to go wait in line, fight the crowds and probably have to deal with a store employee with attitude! Can't wait.

I bought this for my son for Xmas. It lasted 2 days before the power button did not turn off which then caused a loud tone to be emitted which was non-stop. Swagway did not answer calls and it took 7 days to get an answer back from an email request for technical support. Returned it ASAP.

Had some issues with the battery cover coming off a lot other than that my 11 yr old son loves it

Rode the first one two days before it wouldn't turn off or stop beeping. Exchanged for a replacement and it lasted a day before we had the same problem. Board won't turn off and beeps nonstop. Huge Christmas disappointment. Thank goodness I purchased at Best Buy.

Issues with product not turning off. I was afraid.
