I bought this backpack for my son to use at college. He carried his laptop to class a couple of times a week. After about a month the seems were ripping on the sides.

I purchased it in April 2013, with more than a month the handle broke. I was very desappointed. I called the customer services, they said nothing could be done since I was out of USA.

I've had a similar bag for years and it was great. This bag - even though it claims to be a 17" bag - really doesn't fit my 17" laptop (the old bag fit it easily). I basically have to stretch the bag/zipper to get the laptop in it ... pretty sure the zipper will break pretty soon due to this "over stress"

Tried to cancel the order while item was out for delivery and the system would not allow. After calling BBY customer service, they said the item must be delivered. Telling them the item is/was lost, they said they could not help me. Not sure whats wors the people handling the call or the terrible process.

Big Backpack and with durable material. I am able to fit 2 laptops and my ipad among other stuff. Item better than expected.

This is a good bag if you are going to carry a laptop however, if you plan to put many other things in it (books, notebooks, etc) it can be a little narrow.

nice looking bag but returned it because I could easily fit my 17.3" dell laptop in the bag. however, it appeared to be otherwise serviceable.

This backpack is a good backpack as far as room but this is my second one in 12 months and the handle broke and last time the zipper broke.

Bought this for my son going off to school. Very, very sturdy. Almost sturdy enough for a student.....anyway, HE didn't like it....said it was too big..... ME, I like it and here's why: 1) Construction. One of the major flaws of any backback is the carry strap(s). This one uses a cable for the top pull strap. You can't really break it....novel idea.....also, seeing how most of us sling a backback over our shoulders with ONE shoulder strap, it had better be sturdy considering the load of books, laptop, and other nefarious items one loads into one of these gems.... 2) Capacity. Kind of like tools. Better to have it when you need it than to need it and not have it? The only thing goofier looking than loading this moonpack is to load a smaller one and STILL having to lug other items under your arms. Relax you students of vanity, if you don't load it all the way, most folks won't notice it. For those of us who are of a practical minds set and don't give a flip what others think, then it's a great choice. You can stuff everything in here including parts of relatives you no longer want around and still have room for a laptop....it's roomy.....to say the very least...... Expensive? You bet. Can you find one similar on line from Shin-Fu industries ad nauseum......for less, you bet.....however, what is your time worth? Anyway, I bought a good laptop for him to get started at $449 and bought this as well. Like all men, one stop and we are done shopping..... If you want a sturdy backpack that won't need to be replaced in a year or two, this is the one. If you are of smaller stature and don't want something as big, I understand, just realize, this size gives you the extra deep pocket you won't get on a smaller one. On a smaller backpack you will get one large pocket. This extra one is great for a netbook/notebook with a sleeve, charger, etc.....etc.... Gotta haul a load? This is the one....going to school part-time....er....maybe not...if you do buy it, you won't be dissappointed. It will survive your ape(s).....er kids.....too... Enjoy.

It is made extremely well but too small. Children today have lots of books and computers to carry

There is nothing better than the Synergy bag produced by the same company, Swiss Army. This backpack cost more and fits less.

I would want this bag to hold up more seems with 2 laptops it would hold up. Overall like the bungee in the straps.

Got the backpack for school and the zipper to the main laptop compartment ripped off within 30 days of purchase.

Its big but still useful not that much helpful for the back support I like it anyway

It's been a year and the bag if fraying at the sides of the shoulder straps. I looked at the warranty and while it is probably covered for an identical item (because it is still available) I have to pay the shipping to get it to Swissgear for them to evaluate it. Not sure it is worth sending it back for an identical bag, if the quality is the sam.e

This is possibly the strongest backpack you will ever encounter without buying leather or metal/carbon casing. The weave is tight, taut and very durable. It is mostly water resistant, but will stain if it encounters bleach or other sorts of dye materials. The zippers are heavy duty and wont break off like most others. Pleasing appearnce and comfortable weight, even when full to the max. Tends to fit 16oz up to 24oz and SOBE sized bottles fairly tight and secure. It actually stands on its own. Can fit pretty much anything you have in mind when you want to go somewhere. Great travel size, but not to be confused with luggage. Generally, when backpacks are empty, they looks almost like deflated helium balloons, slightly flat, very light, and just filled with air in the empty spaces. This backpack, whether it's because of its frame construction or what, I don't know, but it tends to looks like something is in it all the time. It also doesn't have a chest strap to go across the shoulders to connect shoulder strap to shoulder strap. With that, you can expect alot of bouncing when riding a bike while wearing this. Not terrible or anything, just something I thought they could have easily added for extra comfort and stability during bike transport. When all is said and done, this is probably the best 17" capable laptop backpack you will find. Needless to say it is well worth the money. Pay the little extra and get this rather than the Targus ones, those materials aren't grade A like this. If you are still unconvinced, you can probably travel to any of your local Best Buy stores and feel them/see them in the laptop case aisle. They are generally one of the few actually on display in stores and is probably one of the only Wenger - Swiss Gear items you will find on sale.

The tag said it would stand up on its own. Nope. Flops right over which is annoying.

Bought this as a Christmas present for my brother who must carry a laptop to remote work sites. He loves the bag and all its features.

My laptop is a 17.3 in so it is a lil bit if a tight squeeze but it is great
