I got this backpack to hold my computer and personal supplies while spending four months working in Norway. It is great for traveling around the city and Europe. It is very durable, protects the stuff inside and has many pockets to help separate your stuff. It is pricier than other backpacks but you get what you pay for.

Nice back pack for carrying laptop and school books

Worst $100 I ever spent. Sticking in the shoulder strap unraveled after 1 month and the stitching in the hand loop also unraveled. Waste of money 0 stars for this product.

Since purchasing this item I have returned it. It's not that it is a bad bag, but I didn't care for the style. with the metal zipper pulls that jingle like jewelry

Very robust looking backpack . But unfortunately it’s starting to break after a few months of usage. Please check the picture.

Bought this on a whim when I picked up my new 17" Asus Rog. Of course, the laptop was in the box but this was the largest backpack. Had to find out that it did not fit, and returned it.

Bought it for my teenage son. We'll see how long it lasts before he destroys it.

I use this as a work backpack, I work remotely and have to tote a lot of laptops, phones, notepads, etc around and this has by way been the best backpack I could have purchased. It’s very durable, I like the rubber padding thing on the bottom of it to prevent thinning of the material. There’s so many pockets too which makes it super convenient to carry all of my gadgets. I really like the mesh zippered areas in the bag too.

Got less than a month of light use on this backpack before it developed a tear on the top pocket. I have had other similar packs which have lasted ~10 years without developing such problems. Promptly returned for a refund.

had the Maxumm backpack from swiss prior for a few years and work great!! saw the ibex on sale and had to get it. Great size! fits the laptop, textbooks, binder, cords and bottled water NO PROBLEM! more little pockets and compartments than i know what to use them for!! BEST PART stand up right on it's own!! ALL my previous backpacks one placed on the ground would slouch and slide flat... this would get in the middle of the row, get dirty, people would have to high step over... just a pain... but the first time i set it down it just plopped upright without an issue and was easy to access during lecture! it has more than enough padding and was well worth the 62 with tax that i paid (considering i use it everyday to carry over $1,000 worth of computer and books etc.) considering the 3-4 year lifespan of my previous swiss i couldnt' pass up the opportunity to get this backpack... it's like...$20/year!! not shabby

My last backpack of the exact same model lasted 10 years. This one made it 2 weeks. With interior ripping out between the separate pouches.

I purchased this about a week ago to protect my new laptop, and have used it every day since then. I spent about an hour testing out different cases and backpacks in the store, and this was by far the most comfortable. Though it is a little on the expensive side, I find it to be well worth the price for a number of reasons. There is plenty of space for your laptop, accessories, books, notebooks, and miscellaneous supplies. The front-most compartment is very well organized, so finding pens and such aren't a problem. Additionally, the back of the bag has some great cushioning that prevents your back from getting too hot while adding some extra padding for the laptop inside. Overall, this bag is extremely ergonomic, spacious, and functional.

It does not fit a 17” laptop. Could barely zip closed. Does not have any protection

Hole in bad without much use. Strap that goes on shoulder broke as well. Never again.

Lots and lots of pockets. I travel 1-2 weeks each month and this was a great upgrade over my previous SwissGear backpack. Love the travel strap they added to help secure it to your luggage handle and the quick access pocket at the top is perfect. Straps/padding are very comfortable. May not be the best 'student' backpack but for the travelers who has to lug around a 17 inch laptop, cords, tablet, books and binder....this was perfect for my needs. Might be ideal for you. Go to the Best Buy store to demo it for yourself if its in stock.

I do not like the backpack and will be giving away. I reached the 30day return and do not have the receipt with me to return it

I was surprised when receiving the backpack because its appeareance, it looks very nice and modern. Storage space is very good, with compartments everywhere, even now I've just discovered another. The materials seems to be long lasting (still not having so much time to prove it) and looks good quality. The only note abput it is the wheight. Maybe because of the size and lots of compartments, but i feel it a bit heavy. Very important: my laptop is hte Gateway NV7802, 17.3 inches, and fits exactly. I'm glad to have this backpack.

I was on a business trip and needed to replace my old backpack. My brother has one exactly like this so I asked his opinion. He said it was one of the best purchases he'd ever made. I've had mine for about five years and use it most days. It looks almost new, other than a strap pull which was destroyed by an office chair wheel. It has great protection for the contents, the organization is excellent. It's extremely durable. I haven't had any complaints. It does have a LOT of pockets, so make sure you check all of them before taking a flight - to make sure you didn't unintentionally leave anything inside. I can't think of any downside to this backpack.
