Picked this up recently to fit my new 17" Gateway FX, even with the slightly extended battery it still fit perfectly into the holder inside the bag. There's room for absolutely everything you can think of, I walk to work and carry two laptops (The 17" Gateway, and the 7" Asus EEE) along with all my accessories, power cords, mouse, headset, and even fit a change of clothes in the bag without it being uncomfortable. In my opinion the price was well worth it, it's a very sturdy bag with great features, I'm still finding pockets and zippers I didn't know about a month after buying it!

This backpack has everything the others do not. Besides the top quality zippers that will almost last a lifetime, its design fists my wish list of options perfectly. With the top "Quick Pocket" for small everyday items to the office on the go flap with its pen holders etc. Don't forget about the padding on the straps or on the back of this backpack. This rear padding is great for back protection for us middle age people! With its reinforced metal handle, (designed for lifetime use), this backpack has it all, its even designed to hold a laptop too....I probably didn't mention that.....oh well....this is the IT backpack for all your I-T needs!

Purchased a couple of bags that said they fit most 17" screens. Unfortunately, ended up returning both of them because they were too small for my large HP screen. I read the reviews on this one and someone specifically mentioned their 17" HP. It is a little more expensive than the other bags, but well worth it. The bag is perfect for the larger screens and has a lot of compartments for when I travel. I LOVE this bag and carry it back and forth to work even if I don't have my computer in it. I would buy this one even with a smaller laptop because it has so many different compartments and it is lighter than other bags I purchased.

This backpack is extremely amazing! It's great for 17" laptops and just about any peripherals you can imagine. I carry a lot around with my computer and it fits everything! It's very durable and comfortable too!

I have had this product for about 2 months and was immediately impressed by all of the pockets for strage. This is the perfect bag to take your notebook computer to classes/work or for travel. It was one of the few I found when searching for a bag for my 17" notebook. Not only does it fit the notebook but I can carry all my books for class, pens and other school supplies, and my purse. As a woman I am happy with the fuctionality and as a geek I am thrilled with all the features. It even has features that protect your computer!

This is one of the best computer bags I have owned. It is durable and has held up nicely. There are so many compartments available in this bag and there is plenty of room to accomodate them. I absolutely love this bag.

My mom got the bag for me as a Freshman and I'm still using now as a Senior about to graduate. The plastic on the handle cracked and is now in three pieces and there is some tearing on the straps. What do you expect from a well used back pack that's been thrown around though? Hot chocolate was spilled on it once but never seeped through to the inside. It has also been muddy several times from being placed on the floor of vehicles. There are enough pockets to organize my stuff and hide things. I am very proud of this product and my college backpack will be Swiss as well.

LOVE, Love this backpack. After paying the airline $100.00, because my rolling computer bag had to be 'checked' I decided a Swiss backpack was the answer. Boy was I correct! The shock absorbing straps are very comfortable and the entire bag is well made. My only issue, is the snugness of the inner computer sleeve, when using my 17" Gateway, which has an extended battery pack. My Toshiba fits great in the sleeve. Organized well, good access to needed accessories. Great design and VERY comfortable, on one shoulder, grabbing by the handle, or as a regular backpack. Highly recommend!

This is a quality bag that has lots of pockets for storage. Me and my son both own one of these and we both love it! The cost was over 70 bucks each; but well worth it due to the quality and appearance.

Got me through my undergraduate and graduate school, vacations, backpacking trips, tons of air travel, and much more. Quality through and through. Finally after about 12 years, I am retiring this backpack and buying another one. I always thought that if I got 5 years out of a heavily abused backpack I would be happy. I got about 10 years out of it without major problems. Excellent product. I'd pay $200 for this thing.

I needed a backpack to carry all my equipment and work. I have a 15" laptop and a DSLR with a couple of large lens' i carry. In addition, I have paperwork I need to bring along with work utensils and all my collateral electronic gadgetry and cables. This pack has room for it all. Better yet it has separate compartments for everything plus room for a change of clothes. I stepped on the plastic strap fastener and broke it. So i tied the strap and now it is a permanent length, but works as good as new!! I have owned this pack for 3 years and bring it everywhere!

This is a great bag. I find it very comfortable to wear, with one strap or two. The comfortable carry handle on the top works very well, and it actually contains a braided wire cable, so I feel confident it is going to last. My 15.4" laptop fits very well in the laptop sleeve. I really like that the strap on the sleeve has a click-lock instead of just velcro. The nicely padded compartment on the top is great for my phone. The center compartment is roomy and easy to access. I really love how well this bag stands up. Even with only the laptop in the back compartment, it stands up with no tipping or slouching. I am very pleased with this bag, and I anticipate being able to use it for years to come.

Feels good on the back, if not a little bit on the smaller size. Was able to fit a large laptop (17.5 inches diagonally) and a full-sized keyboard without much fuss! There are lots of smaller compartments, especially in the laptop zipper. There are seven zippers, including one on each side. A very worthwhile purchase.

I bought this bag because it was one of the few that I saw that would hold Dell Precision M6600 17.3" laptop (that .3" sure makes a difference with these bags). It does just fit, but not in the padded pocket it's supposed to. Bag seems well made, should last long time. Plenty of pouches and compartments. Zippers are heavy duty. One downside, when I brought this home and looked up on Amazon, they listed it as a discontinued model, replaced by a newer model from Targus. Oh well, isnt that usually the case? (no pun intended)

I use the backpack to transport my laptop to work and autocross events in the Bay Area. I find the backpack durable and convenient, specially the pocket at the top of it.

Purchased this for my high school senior to carry books and laptop. Nice quality for the price. Spacious, comfortable and sturdy.

This backpack is great. I have an HP 17.3 inch laptop, laptop cooler, iPod, three external drives, two books, various paperwork, and several other things in this bag with still more room. It is very comfortable to carry even with all of this stuff. It stands up on its own so it doesn't put any stress on the laptop to keep it upright. I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend it to anyone who needs to keep a mobile office with them.

I am really impressive with the quality of this product. Bought it in August of 2010 and it still look nice. Off course it does not look like it came from the store. But does not look like an old back pack neither. I really like this product. The quality is amazing. It is a little more expensive but the keyword here is durability. Mine is with almost two years and looks great. I am pretty sure I will keep it for more 2 years at least.
