I have used many bags for years, but this has to be the most useful and most durable. It is very comfortable and does not strain my back. The best part has to be the many pockets it has. Pockets have pockets in them and it is great for organizing; its like a kangaroo with many joeys. It has accommodations for MP3 players and tablets. It might not fit some gaming laptops though but if I were Swiss gear, I would build a bigger backpack.

The product is very nice and sturdy and it makes me feel confident that it will really protect my laptop. Its very convenient as a hand carry bag when traveling. The only problem I have is the number of zippers and pockets this bag have, it sometimes get confusing and difficult to secure.

Was looking for a backpack that could hold up to a 16 or 17" laptop,. I was also looking for a bag that I could use for frequent travel, for storing toiletreies, GPS, camera, writing notebook, papers, etc, with room to spare. Found this bag. Has all the room I need, and is comforatble on my back. The week after Christmas, Best Buy had this advertised for $69.99, priced down from $99.99. I bought it as soon as as I saw that!

This is an excellent computer bag. My Dell E6520 laptop fits perfectly. This bag also has a pouch for an iPad which I have as well. It is the perfect bag for travelling and fits well under the seat in front of you on most aircraft. It will even fit in the overhead on a regional jet provided you have not crammed it too full. My experience with Swissgear products has been great and this bag is another example of the practicality and durability of Swissgear products. I would highly reccoment this product.

Back pack is used every day. Small top compartment is perfect for glasses - sun and reading. Lots of compartments. Well padded.

This is my second purchase on this backpack in about 3 years. Only thing I noticed on the newer version is that the strap inside the main laptop storage area is too short to ingage. The old version had an elastic version that worked fine this newer one is not elastic and is about a 1/4 inch too short for my 17" Dell Precision to firmly lock in. Otherwise the backpack is identical to the older one. Only bought a new one to give my old one to my daughter going off to college. This thing is built to last!

I purchased this after being told by an electronics associate that my ASUS G74SX would fit inside, but to my dismay when I got it home, I found the contrary to be true. It fit width-wise but not lengthwise. I did however give the bag a nice looking at. It seemed of solid construction and with my laptop inside, being as heavy as it is, was still very comfortable. There was also plenty of room for the charger ( a real brick on this model computer), my turtle beach gaming headphones, wireless mouse, air card, external speaker etc etc. with room to spare. Instead I wound up with a crummy Targus bag with a painful shoulder strap and no room for my paraphernalia. That is the reason I knocked off a star.

I loved everything about the backpack; It's roominess, it's many pockets, and it's outward tough shell and comfortable handle. This, however, is the 2nd purchase of the same backpack in a year. The reason I purchased this backpack and thus am writing this review is due to the plastic shoulder strap clasp, which after 8 months of service from my purchase in January, shattered while on my shoulder. This is the weakest link of this otherwise nice backpack, and it is a fatal one. You cannot have the clasp replaced, as it is sewn in and above a plastic end pull which is heat welded on. This clasp breaking on an otherwise solid bakpack has thrown 99$ down the drain. I purchased another, as Best Buy has no warranty program beyond an inadequate 90 days for what is a serious defect. Kepp this in mind when pucrhasing this backpack end expecting longevity

Purchased this in 2020 for my then 9yo rough and rumble son and it lasted until now. Excellent quality, best backpack ever purchased, looking for another now but different model just for a change of pace.

I was able to purchase this on sale, so it was a really good value, esp. for being Swiss. Lots of pockets, extra protection for laptop. Since it is Swiss, expect that it will last for years. I would prefer more room in the main (non-laptop pocket) e.g. combine 2 of the pockets to make 1 to better fit my lunch, also mesh pockets will hold smalll water bottles, but I don't think they will hold larger (20+ ounce) bottles or umbrellas, the mesh areas is pretty shallow.

I could not be more pleased with this backpack. The quality is top-notch, the design is everything you would want. I love it for travel because I can avoid checked baggage with a nice carryon suitcase & this backpack. Room for any sized laptop and a tablet, room for extra clothes if needed, pass through for music, great padding & flex straps, the list goes on & on. Says that it fits most laptops up to a 17" screen i have a toshiba that has a 17.3" screen and it fit perfect in the backpack. I like all the compartments this bag has because i can now hold everything i want in it including my portable hdd and web cam that will be used for hd video rec.

I love this bag and use it for more than just my 17" widescreen laptop. I've used it for day/weekend trips and have yet to fill it so full I can't get what I want in it. I purchased a second one so I could use one as an "Emergency Kit" bag for ease of use/carry. I've got a bit more than the essentials for an EK and still have plenty of room for more stuff. Great bag for a variety of uses.

I was in search of a backpack to fit everything I need on a daily basis. This bag has a variety of storage areas, and looks really sleek and sophisticated. My back pain has gone away since purchasing this bag due to the special padding on the back part. This bag is definitely worth purchasing, I was not disappointed and you will not be either.

I ordered one for me from Wichita Falls, Texas and one for my wife in Woodbridge, Virginia. Both of the stores had this in stock so we were really lucky to get this backpack for $15. Fits my 17" laptop and my wife's 15" laptop comfortably. Plenty more space for books, water bottle, other gadgets, etc. I can't still believe I got this for $15. I saw a guy in front of me picking up 3.

I recommend this laptop bag to anyone whether they're in college or an executive who travels a lot. It is so much easier to carry through the airport than a shoulder bag and is so comfortable with all the cushion in all the right places. It's perfect for everyday or for travel.

I purchased this backpack to accommodate my 17.3" MSI gaming notebook. it fits snugly under the zipper, and the security elastic/velcro, barely fits with some effort. I not only carry that notebook, but also my 14.1" dell work notebook, ipad, paper notebook, Corsair over-sized, gaming headphones power adapters/cables, etc. you can fit quite a bit in the bag. Doing so, makes it a bit unwieldy, and I think that a smallish person may tip over if its overloaded. That being said, I am not smallish, and as such it works well for me.

I have used this backpack for a couple years. It still looks like new. The straps are sturdy. The fabric is wearing great. It protects my laptop pretty well, as well as allowing me to fill the backpack with lots of papers. When it is time to retire this backpack, I will get another one of these.

This pack is very well put together and was a very good purchase for me. It exceeded my expectations and you will not be disappointed if you buy the item.

This the second bag that I did buy that was Swiss Gear, the first bag was over 7 years a go, I only stop using the bag it was to samll for he new laptop. And after 7 years ot looks like new. I am looking to use this bag for the next 10 years or more. Good bag.
