I have had a swiss gear pack in the past but the zipper broke. Purchased this one which is a bit larger and it works great. Sturdy with plenty of storage options. Best part is the ability to hold my very oversized ASUS laptop, something that eventually led to the zipper failing on the smaller model.

Great durable product! Room for 17” laptop and still room for an Hp tango printer plus tons of other pockets for miscellaneous gear and the price was unbeatable!

We now have 4 of these in the house. I've carried a Swiss Gear for my business bag everywhere. It's held up so well that my kids now use them for their school bags. Packed to the max the straps make them easy to carry. Not a single issue with durability. Pockets make things easy to access. Great bag.

My old Swissgear backpack finally started to show it's age after 8-10 years so I went back in the market to see how things have changed since then. I tried the rectangle packs, the TSA packs, and the storage packs in addition to the standard backpacks and this one turned out to still be the best one I could get my hands on. I have a 17" MSI so it's pretty bulky and that limits what packs I can use, but this one handles it easily and I even have room to put a Surface in the tablet pocket. All of that in the first zipper along with a netted storage area. The power packs fit in the second zipper and I still have plenty of room for other accessories which leaves me 2 more zippered areas to put storage/cables/earbuds/etc and not stuff the thing full. However, with all of that in there, it's not overly bulky or heavy. Very light weight and durable. I just couldn't find anything to beat it.

This backpack has plenty of storage. The laptop compartment is well padded and secure, Overall quality is amazing. One feature that I really like is that it stays solidly upright when you set it down. Looking forward to years of service!

The pack is well made but you have to load it up to be stable. Holds the laptop securely and confidently tons of compartments, but that may be my only con I forget where I put something and have to look into many zippered compartment til I find, that being said I like all the features.

Easily holds a 17" and 15.6" laptop at once along with three other compartments. I have had this back literally stuffed with computer equipment at times and not a stretch of the fabric or tear of any seams. Easily the best backpack out there for larger laptops.

This backpack fits my 17inch laptop perfectly and holds it securely in place, and I have plenty of room for all of the accessories to fit in, in addition to holding a few other items for travel. It's comfortable and looks great too.

This is the backpack that I use everyday for college. Has great pockets for laptop, books, and other must haves! Stitching and fabric has held up well. Worth paying a little more for it's high end quality.

This backpack is a good balance of space, features, and cost. It's well constructed and seems durable...though I haven't had it very long. I bought it for myself and my high school daughter liked it so much she "talked me out of it". I definitely recommend it

Replacing my previous Swiss bag, this one is slimmer, and seems to have more storage options. It fits my 17.5" laptop which is thicker than most being a gaming laptop, I had to shoe horn it for a little while. The straps are durable, and easily adjustable. Holds a larger protein shaker, and all of my accessories that I use for work, or emergency PC repair calls. Only con is that it will not stand up straight, I thought the firm bottom would make it easier, but I thought wrong. : /

I bought this to replace an aging laptop bag that I use for work and pleasure. I use it for my 17" Lenovo laptop, my 15.6" Acer laptop, and my Pixel Slate tablet (no, not all at the same time!). It's constructed extremely well and has more than enough compartments. The zippers are oversized and operate smoothly. There's no chest strap, but the shoulder straps are very comfortable and distribute the weight very well. The materials used on the bottom of the pack will last a long time as they're a lot more rugged than the rest of the pack - but that's not saying anything bad about the balance of the materials. Something about how this pack is made though makes the pack when fully loaded feel like it weighs less than it actually does. Great job SwissGear, I love this pack!

Because of my job, I use my bag daily. It's my go to for everything work related....laptop, tablet, accessories, etc. It has plenty of pockets and compartments. Great padding on the straps and back so it's very comfortable to carry around.

Got this bag to hold my recently purchased 17 inch laptop while traveling. It has a lot of pouches to hold all the laptop essentials such as power adapter, mouse etc, folders and travel essentials such as passport etc securely. It is comfortable to carry and fits overhead bin in the aircraft.

Happened across this backpack while wandering around the store killing time. It was on sale and a great value. Super happy I happened to find it. Great quality and has tons of storage.

I was looking for something which I can take to work every day. This bad has been built for daily office needs in mind. Very well built with attention to details Price is a little on the high side but I think it will last for a long time so should pay off.

Very top line for this type of product. Well padded at back, strong seams, items protected from each other. Bottom padded, weakness?? Same as other products of this type... needs better padding on sides and top! It does have pockets on sides that foam can be added to though. Top, not much extra can be done. Short of a metal or hard plastic protective case though, none better. Comfortable to wear, packing easy.
