Very sturdy indeed. Comfortable padding. Worked great with luggage handle strap(plopped on my smaller carry on suitase, the strap in the back allowed me to wrap it around the telescopic handle). Feels very high quality in materials.

I wanted a book bag for school that will also have a slot for my laptop and this one came with much more then I anticipated. For one the laptop department was humongous and came with Velcro shutting thing so my laptop never falls out and the entire book bag came with a whole bunch of open slot for other things as well such as my books for school and all these inside zip pouches for like wires and things. I got it over a month ago and this book bag is still in tact almost as if I just bought it.

Bought this to go with a 17" laptop and it fits great! There is tons of room in this bag. Seems very sturdy and looks very well made.

Nice backpack that is actually comfortable to wear. A lot of pockets with zippers that will help you to organize all your stuff and keep it secure.

This is my fourth Swiss Gear bag. I wouldn't own anything else. Plenty of pockets, sturdy zippers. Almost indestructible.

I have used this backpack for almost two years now. I travel continuously for work with it. I drag it on into dirty factories and on many flights. I have it stuffed full with a large laptop and cables. So far it has held up well. no tears, rips or failed zippers. The rubber grip around the steel cable they use for a handle is just now starting start to tear a little, otherwise it is holding up well to great abuse.

I purchased this bag to carry my laptop for vacation and a recent relocation and discovered it is much more than just a laptop backpack. This bag easily held my laptop and power cable along with many other items. Plenty of pockets and storage spaces. Zippers are smooth and durable. Straps and handles are strong and comfortable. This is the first laptop backpack I have ever purchased and will likely be the only one I need for many years to come. Well worth the cost for protection and convenience.

I was researching plenty of SwisGear backpacks. I found this excellent as it is rigid, big, many compartments and nice color combinations.

Bought to replace existing Swiss Gear backpack. It seems very sturdy and well built. I like the extra ability to hang over the handle of my carry on luggage.

Very durable back back with plenty space for organization

I have a 17" laptop which fits and is well padded for protection. It has plenty of storage. It is light weight and comfortable.

After years of carrying a briefcase-style laptop bag, I upgraded to a 17" laptop that would no longer fit in my previous bag. I tried replacing the bag with a larger model that would hold the bigger laptop, but after a trip to China, I realized I needed more space than that bag would provided. Poked around and found this bag, highly rated, and also the same brand used by a colleague in China. After several more trip, I have to say I'm very happy with the bag, handles all of my stuff, including extra clothes for a short trip.

My old backpack gave out. I wanted a versatile backpack that is light durable and plenty of compartments. This is it and affordable too.

If you're a gearhead this backpack has plenty of pockets to carry all your toys. The Laptop pocket is big enough for a 17 inch computer, and there's plenty of smaller pockets to carry all of your cables, power supplies, and hard drives. In addition there's plenty of other compartments for everything you need. With the adjustable straps and back pads there's also plenty of comfort. And with the metal supported handle you can lock this bad boy down to anything. All in all it has quickly become my go to for every project.
