My Laptop weighs 17 lbs. Its a gaming laptop. This backpack has strong seems and straps are attached and sewn well. I would recommend it for anyone with a heavy laptop. It also has large storage areas.

Bought this to go with a 17" laptop and it fits great! There is tons of room in this bag. Seems very sturdy and looks very well made.

This is my fourth Swiss Gear bag. I wouldn't own anything else. Plenty of pockets, sturdy zippers. Almost indestructible.

I have used this backpack for almost two years now. I travel continuously for work with it. I drag it on into dirty factories and on many flights. I have it stuffed full with a large laptop and cables. So far it has held up well. no tears, rips or failed zippers. The rubber grip around the steel cable they use for a handle is just now starting start to tear a little, otherwise it is holding up well to great abuse.

Nice backpack that is actually comfortable to wear. A lot of pockets with zippers that will help you to organize all your stuff and keep it secure.

Seems durable, and I love all the different compartments.

I purchased this bag to carry my laptop for vacation and a recent relocation and discovered it is much more than just a laptop backpack. This bag easily held my laptop and power cable along with many other items. Plenty of pockets and storage spaces. Zippers are smooth and durable. Straps and handles are strong and comfortable. This is the first laptop backpack I have ever purchased and will likely be the only one I need for many years to come. Well worth the cost for protection and convenience.

I needed a replacement for my 19 year old SwissGear pack that I traveled with countless times and finally had enough abuse that it was time for a new one. This pack is very similar to my initial pack which I actually purchased for our daughter who started at the University of Oregon in 2005 and she thought it was too masculine for her, so I was beneficiary. The packs are very well built and the only thing that ever wears out are the clips and maybe zippers which can easily be replaced. It is a very expandable and holds my iPad or MacBook Pro, toiletries in another Swiss Gear toiletry container, an extra set of clothes, books, magazines and more. I don't travel without one!

I purchase this back for a trip I had planned. The bag fit perfect under my sit on the plane. Has several pockets that were very accessible to get my ID, headphones, charger, and phone. Would recommend for any student in school or the casual traveler.

I was researching plenty of SwisGear backpacks. I found this excellent as it is rigid, big, many compartments and nice color combinations.

I have a 17" laptop which fits and is well padded for protection. It has plenty of storage. It is light weight and comfortable.

After years of carrying a briefcase-style laptop bag, I upgraded to a 17" laptop that would no longer fit in my previous bag. I tried replacing the bag with a larger model that would hold the bigger laptop, but after a trip to China, I realized I needed more space than that bag would provided. Poked around and found this bag, highly rated, and also the same brand used by a colleague in China. After several more trip, I have to say I'm very happy with the bag, handles all of my stuff, including extra clothes for a short trip.
